Introduction

10 years ago, in Shibuya, Tokyo, there was a battle between two rival 'organizations.'

One organization attempted to open a gate connecting this world and another, using a spatial distortion called a "flux."

The other organization attempted to thwart their "plan" to plunge the world into chaos.

...The battle in Shibuya, which was completely sealed off, was extremely fierce... and eventually, it came to an end.

One of the organizations—the government-affiliated special agency 'Shinra'—prevented the appearance of the "flux."

Evil spirits, demons, tengu... It's an organization that has been fighting against otherworldly beings that have harmed the human world since ancient times.

Few people know about this organization, and their battles have been continuously fought in the shadows, hidden from public view, right up to the present day.

...People don't believe that there are other "worlds" besides the "world" in which they live.

...People don't realize that quietly, and surely...beings that are not human are stepping into this world.

...And people don't know what will happen when two "worlds" that should never intersect actually collide.

Ten years after "the incident," points of contact with another dimension, known as "fluxes," began to appear all over the world, slowly but surely eroding it.

The battle...was not yet over.

And then, in the year 20XX, in Shibuya, Tokyo.

A city completely sealed off due to the occurrence of a "flux," and designated as a "Closed City." Just like on "that day" ten years ago.

The story was about to begin anew...starting from this city.
