Zoids: Empire vs Republic ~Genes of Mechanical Organisms~/Story

Intro Video

"The Empire and the Republic, through the armistice agreement,
maintained a superficial peace.

However, the Republic stood against the Empire,
declared that democracy is supreme,
and they imposed their ideology.

Naturally, resentment and hatred within the empire
was brought into being by this.

The empire pursued a policy of peace on the surface, while
they expanded their military.

The Republic, reveling in peace, even its border defense
started to neglect.

The battle is about to begin.

The prestige and pride of the empire
are proclaimed."

Opening of Both Stories

"In the era when humanity achieved interstellar travel... And they ventured forth into other star systems...

In a star system tens of thousands of light-years from Earth... There was a ZOID-ZONE which resembled the Solar System.

Planet Zoid possesses an atmosphere very similar to that of Earth's, and it is a world where metal ore veins are frequently exposed.

Therefore, life emerged in seas with high concentrations of metal ions, underwent various stages of evolution, and became organisms possessing metallic cells and with shapes such as reptilian and insectoid types, for example.

This marked the birth of the metallic lifeforms known as 'ZOIDS'.

On the other hand, branching off during the course of evolution, after following its own path of development... Human-like intelligent life forms known as the “People from Zoid” also came into being.

At one time, planet Zoid was under the rule of King Helic, and the democratic political system kept the peace. But...

After the King's death...

His eldest son, Herrick II, and youngest son, Zenebas, were at odds. Ultimately, this led to the division of the continent into two nations: the Helic Republic and the Zenebas Empire.

Eventually, both factions decided to make Zoids their main force, modifying them into combat beasts.

Later on, through the technology brought by humankind of Earth... The Zoids were further modified and enhanced to improve their combat capabilities, evolving into "Mecha-organical Zoids".

And thus...

This marked the beginning of the endless history of the conflict between the Republic and the Empire."

Helic Republic Story

Chapter 1 Prologue

Through a surprise attack and overwhelming assault, the forces of the Empire invaded the Republic's territory. As a result, the Republic forces were compelled to withdraw, and thus vast extensions of the Republic's territory were occupied by the forces of the Empire.

In response to the invasion of the army of the Empire, President Helic II of the Republic proposed a counteroffensive operation, personally leading his forces to reclaim the lost territories.

However, many of the generals expressed concerns about proceeding with the operation, arguing that the President's personal sortie entailed far too great a risk.

In response, the Republic Command Headquarters devised a feint operation using a Helic body double, and then the counteroffensive against the Empire was finally launched.

This is the tale of that other Helic, who commanded the counteroffensive as the general's double.

Mission 1 Briefing

Currently, our country finds itself driven into a corner by the invasion of the Imperial Army...

But the time for the counterattack has come! As the vanguard of the counteroffensive operation, we are tasked with disrupting the enemy forces.

Our forces that were advancing towards Crocket Fort have intercepted an enemy patrol at Mount Jaw.

This is an aerial photograph of Mount Jaw.

It is a hilly area surrounded by small mountains. Our first objective is to defeat the patrol unit.

This operation only has one strategy: a single-point breakthrough. The expected deployment and advance routes of both enemy and our forces are as shown.

Should the unit make use of existing units, or purchase new Zoids units from the factory and organize them into a force?

When forming a new unit, do not forget to purchase the parts to fit onto the Zoids, and don't forget to setup the unit too.

That's all! Hurry up with the preparations and deployment!

Mission 1 Title

The Beginning of the Battle - The Surprise Attack!!

Mission 2 Briefing

Our operation at Mount Jaw was successful.

It seems that the Imperial forces have not detected our movements yet.

The Fort Crocket surprise attack operation is a critical operation for our counterattack and requires complete victory!

By capturing this stronghold, the morale of the Republic soldiers scattered across the land will surely be boosted...

Capturing the stronghold is top priority. That is the most important mission!

Mission 2 Title

The Signal for the Counterattack

Mission 3 Briefing

Your work at Crocket Fort was magnificent.

Our next objective is Helic Bay!

We cannot allow the Empire to run rampant in this port carrying the name of President Helic of the Republic!

The capture of this bay will deal a severe blow to the Imperial Army's supply lines, and it will give our forces an advantage in the conflict.

This will be our first naval battle! We'll need Zoids that can traverse the seas...

Cross the bridge to approach the enemy if you choose to execute a [Single-Point Breakthrough], this avoids the dispersion of our forces.

The other tactic involves deliberately dispersing our troops to attack the enemy from both sides, executing a [Pincer Movement].

Once you decide which strategy to execute, put it into action immediately! Prepare for sortie!

Mission 3 Title

The weight of the name Helic

Mission 4 Briefing

Fellow soldiers, we have finally captured the key strategic points around the capital city of Helic!

From now on, we shall finally take on the Imperial forces in a full-scale war... However......

Our army's Zoids shortage is critical... If we proceed to battle in this state, our forces will be at a significant disadvantage...

To prevent this from happening, we absolutely need to have vast factory complexes as that will allow us to rapidly expand our military...

Therefore, we will now reclaim our Zoid factory, which is currently under the control of the Imperial Army!

To retake the factory, we will first head to Mount Ursa and secure this position!

Mission 4 Title The Battle of Mount Ursa

Chapter 2 Prologue

The Republic's Counterattack The Republic Army has launched a breakthrough operation through the center of the occupied territories. This operation aims to sever Imperial forces' supply lines, and prevent their supply and support units from entering the occupied zones.

Under Helic's command, so far the Republic Army managed to defeat Imperial forces one after another and advance deep into occupied territories.

Mission 5 Briefing

During the Mount Ursa campaign, the Imperial forces occupied our nation's Zoid factory...

But now advancing to this factory is possible!

In order to survive the fierce battles that lie ahead, the mass production of Zoids will be essential.

The very success or failure of this factory recapture will greatly influence the future course of the war...

Thus this time our mission is to seize control of the 'Zoid Factory' that has fallen into enemy hands... Fellow soldiers, prepare for the operation carefully!

Mission 5 Title

The Counterattack's Path: Factory Recapture

Mission 6 Briefing

We repelled the Imperial forces and successfully recaptured the 'Zoids Factory'... Next, we will advance to the 'Metal Gauge'...

This land, rich in underground resources, is said to have once been home to many wild Zoids...

It is said that Zoids that were once part of the Imperial Army have now gone feral...

Our mission this time is to restore the factory, with the highest priorities being replenishment of supplies via the ‘Metal Gauge', and securing Zoids too!

Prepare for battle in the desert and hurry up with the deployment!

Mission 6 Title

Danger!! The Invisible Enemy

Mission 7 Briefing

We have secured the factory complex and the 'Metal Gauge'.

However, as things stand, this will not be enough to break the stalemate.

Therefore, we have decided that our strategic objective will be Lake Wilson!

In the past, Lake Wilson was home to a research facility belonging to the Republic Army.

This facility will be indispensable for developing more powerful Zoids and more powerful parts!

A possible strategie for this operation is 【Single-Point Breakthrough】... This way we can concentrate firepower to strike the enemy.

The other possible strategy is to split up the forces and attack from the lake and land in an [Amphibious Attack].

Mission 7 Title

The Path Forward

Mission 8 Briefing

We have successfully reclaimed the research facility. Developing new Zoids will take time, but it is absolutely essential to do it.

Now, our next target is ‘Blood/Brad Rock’.

It was once covered in perpetual snow, boasting a majestic landscape, and it was called 'White Rock'.

However, after the recent battle in the area, its former appearance is no longer recognizable, and now the dreaded name ‘Blood Rock’ has been given to it...

As many of you know, there is a frontline base here which serves as a stronghold for the Imperial Army.

Taking this position will deal a blow to the Imperial forces, and it will also provide significant support to our brethren fighting on the other battlefields.

This battle is inevitable!

Mission 8 Title

Quick Attack!! Blood Rock’

Mission 9 Briefing

We received a report from our research and development team...... Good news!

According to analysis by the research and development team, the Imperial Army Zoids and parts are vulnerable to cold!

This is because the Zoids species that were originally held by the Imperial Army were those that primarily inhabited in tropical regions.

Our next operation will be to seize the fortress in the cold region... We will advance to capture Fort Cook and Cook Harbor!

To attack Fort Cook, employ either the strategy of [Concentration of Forces]... Or the strategy of encircling the enemy with a [Pincer Movement]... We will proceed with one of the strategies...

Once you decide which strategy to execute, put it into action immediately! Prepare for sortie!

Mission 9 Title

The Imperial Army's Miscalculation

Mission 10 Briefing

We have successfully captured Fort Cook!

With this momentum, we'll take control of Port Cook next!

Now that we've identified the weakness of the Imperial Zoid forces, there is no greater opportunity for our army!

We could advance to the enemy base using the bridge with a [Concentration of Forces] strategy...

Alternatively, we could also employ a [Pincer Movement] strategy, splitting our forces across the central river.

Hurry up and prepare all units for deployment!

Mission 10 Title

In One Fell Swoop

Mission 11 Briefing

Early this morning, an urgent telegram arrived from the Republic Army's operations headquarters...

According to the report, remnants of the Imperial forces are gathering near the Central Mountain Range... Or so it is said...

Currently, the Imperial Army's deployment and formation have been severely disrupted by the loss of their naval forces...

Let's strike here! We are heading for the Central Mountain Range!

Mission 11 Title

Pursuit! Eliminate the Remnant Forces!!

Mission 12 Briefing

The mop-up operation to eliminate the remnant forces near the Central Mountain Range was a difficult one... but well done... Next...

In order to achieve complete control over the northern part of the continent, we will head for the remaining stronghold in the Gorgodas Strait!

According to a report from the operations headquarters, Imperial forces have dispatched reinforcements from Valencia Bay to that location...

The strategies that can be used are [Concentration of Forces] and

and [Pincer Movement] too... Both options are available...

In any case, whatever you choose, this is a naval battle... Only zoids that can advance on the sea and flying-type zoids will be effective...

It is imperative to be careful with the troop formation...

I expect it will be a fierce battle, but I believe in your strength... That's all!

Mission 12 Title

The Fierce Battle of Gorgodas!!

Chapter 3 Prologue

"Battle for the Imperial Frontline Base" Having successfully divided the occupied territories, the Republic Army aims to capture the Imperial Army's frontline base.

The fall of the forward base... It's tantamount to striking at the heart of the enemy's mobile task force.

Despite facing the Empire's relentless assault, the Republic forces led by Helic reached the forward base and finally captured it.

Mission 13 Briefing

Fellow soldiers, our forces have completely retaken the northern part...

However, when comparing the relative strength of our army with that of the Imperial Army, we must admit that our forces are inferior...

If were to be attacked simultaneously by the Imperial fleet from the mainland and the Imperial forward base at Red River... The wouldn't stand a chance...

Therefore, in order to prevent the Imperial fleet from heading north along the Margarita warm current, we shall proceed to recapture the artillery batteries located on the Cecilia Peninsula.

If we recapture these gun emplacements, even the Imperial fleet will be unable to break through, no matter how large they are...

The operation can consist in either a [Ground Offensive] operation advancing across the bridge at the northern tip of the peninsula,

or in an [Amphibious Offensive] operation deploying forces in two separate units...

Once you decide which strategy to execute, put it into action immediately! Prepare for sortie!

Mission 13 Title

An Impregnable Stronghold

Mission 14 Briefing

The Republic Army's intelligence division intercepted top-secret information from the Imperial Army...

It states that an Imperial Army surprise attack force is approaching Mount Cecilia...

We must defend Cecilia's gun emplacements at all costs!

Therefore, we’ll intercept the enemy’s surprise attack force at Mount Cecilia!

The problem is the strategy we shall utilize... Should we use the [Concentration of Forces] strategy and fight?...

Or should we choose the [Pincer Movement] strategy?...

That's all! Hurry up and get ready for sortie!

Mission 14 Title

Interception!! The enemy surprise attack force

Mission 15 Briefing

The interception of the enemy surprise attack force at Mount Cecilia was a resounding success...

Now, our next target will be the Albe Church Trench...

Don’t be so surprised... It’s true that heading toward the Albe Church Trench is a detour...

However, there is a unit of our forces there which is currently surrounded by the Imperial Army... We’re heading out to rescue them immediately!

Mission 15 Title

A Courageous Decision

Mission 16 Briefing

Thank you for your hard work on the rescue operation at the Albe Church Trench... well done...

The allied unit that was rescued here will be incorporated into our unit... I’m counting on all of you...

...The next target is Cooper Port!

Our objective this time is to cut off the supply route to the Imperial frontline base at Red River!

Even the seemingly impregnable Red River is nothing more than an ordinary frontline base once its supply lines are cut off!

The plan is to cross the bridge leading to the base and advance if you choose [Ground Offensive], and...

...to launch a combined attack from both sea and land if you choose an [Amphibious Offensive].

All right, get ready to sortie! Mission 16 Title

Severed

Mission 17 Briefing

Fellow soldiers, the recapture of Cooper Port has been successful...

You've truly done a great job... This should reduce Red River's formidable durability to some extent...

Now I'll announce the next target... The next target is Cooper Bay...

By securing this area, our forces will gain control of the South Sea... That is our objective!

The [Ground Offensive] approach involves advancing across the plains to capture the cities...

Or we can attack from both land and sea to capture the cities with an [Amphibious Offensive]

Once you decide which strategy to execute, put it into action immediately! Prepare for sortie!

Mission 17 Title

An even more fierce attack!!

Mission 18 Briefing

The operation to recapture Cooper Bay is complete... Our forces are steadily reclaiming territory... ...We must maintain this momentum...

Our next target is Port Floresio! If we capture this place, our forces will have secured control of the South Sea...

It is likely that Imperial forces will send reinforcements to prevent this area from being captured...

The plan is to launch an attack from land and capture the port city if you choose to go with a [Ground Offensive]...

Or divide the forces between sea and land to launch an attack if you choose the [Amphibious Offensive] strategy...

Once you decide which strategy to execute, put it into action immediately! Prepare for sortie!

Mission 18 Title

The Farthest Reaches of the South Sea

Chapter 4 Prologue

'The Helic Pursuit Force' With his forces divided and even his forward bases lost, Emperor Zenebas of the Imperial Army ordered all of his units to eliminate Helic.

Eliminating Helic, who commands immense trust and respect within the Republic, would lead to the the Republic Army losing its will to fight.

However, what motivated Emperor Zenebas more than anything else was the pure hatred he felt towards his older brother, Helic.

Having been tasked with eliminating Helic, the Imperial Army’s Special Mobile Force was deployed to the occupied territories in search of him.

The mobile force that stood ready to meet them was the one commanded by Helic's body double.

Mission 19 Briefing

Fellow soldiers, we have finally made it this far...

The next target is the Imperial Army’s largest forward base, 'Red River'...

The battle here will be more fierce than anything we have ever experienced before...

If we can secure this position, our forces will be able to gain an overwhelming advantage...

Alright, let's go!

Mission 19 Event

...Something's not quite right. The enemy's formations are all over the place.

Is there some kind of breakdown in the Imperial Army's chain of command?

Oh, what's that? A new Zoid from the Empire...!?

W-What is this?! This overwhelming power... At this rate, we'll be wiped out...

No, there must be some way to turn this around. Where is its weak spot...?

Mission 19 Title

Assault!! Death Saurer

Mission 20 Briefing

We managed to capture Red River, but because of the Imperial Army's new Zoid, our forces suffered heavy casualties...

The Imperial Army's new Zoid's codename is Death Saurer...

The Republic Army's intelligence division is currently using all of its resources to investigate it and take it down...

No matter how powerful the Zoids the Imperial Army develops, our forces cannot retreat...

Our next objective is Grey Lake...

Beyond Grey Lake lies Grey Fort, a secret base of the enemy... We're going to take it down!

Alright, let's go!

Mission 20 Title

March forward, no matter what!!

Mission 21 Briefing

Listen up, everyone! Our forces have finally succeeded in developing a Zoid that rivals the imperial army’s Death Saurer...

One unit will be deployed to our force... Its name is Madthunder...

It's still in the research phase and it hasn't been deployed in the field yet...

However, according to a report from the Republic Army's Operations Command, its offensive and defensive capabilities are among the best in our military...

Fellow soldiers, there is no need to be afraid of it... Next up is Fort Gray!

Is the convenient strategy a [Pincer Movement]?...

Or it must be a [Concentration of Forces]?

Once you decide which strategy to execute, put it into action immediately! Prepare for sortie!

Mission 21 Title

The Republic's Secret Weapon!!

Mission 22 Briefing

With the acquisition of the Madthunder our forces have been energized, and the Imperial Army must feel threatened as a result...

Therefore, we will eliminate the remaining Imperial forces and we will put further pressure on them... That is the objective of our next operation...

Our reinforcements have currently succeeded in driving the remaining enemy forces into Globally III...

We'll strike them down here in one fell swoop!

Should we go with a [Pincer Movement] strategy?...

Or should we go with a [Concentration of Forces] strategy?...

Globally III is a place with strong magnetic fields, and it's considered a difficult area to traverse...

Depending on the Zoid, there may be issues with its functioning... Please be very careful!

Mission 22 Event

What?! What's with this magnetic reaction? No way, I never imagined it would be this strong...

I hope this doesn't cause any issues for our forces' zoids...

...This magnetic field might cause the zoids to become uncontrollable...

Mission 22 Title

The Raging Magnetic Storm

Mission 23 Briefing

We’ve struck down the remaining Imperial forces... Let’s carry this momentum into our next operation...

The next target is Fort Grant...

As you all know, it’s an impregnable fortress of the Imperial Army...

In the past, our forces launched numerous surprise attacks on this land, but were defeated every single time...

However, now we are different from the Republic Army of that past!

Should the plan be to carry out a [Concentration of Forces] and take control of the base, or...

should we spread out our forces to make an 【Encirclement】 against the enemy?...

Mission 23 Title

Impregnable!!

Mission 24 Briefing

Fort Grant... Every time our army has advanced here, we have been pushed back by the formidable strength of the Imperial Army...

However, the situation is not overwhelmingly against us!

Now we're heading to Lycan Valley next! According to our military intelligence, Imperial reinforcements have been spotted in this area...

So let’s strike first and surround the Imperial Army with our forces!

If we make use of the terrain of Lycan Valley, doing that should be possible!

We can’t let up on the pursuit now! Let’s move out and attack them!

Mission 24 Title

Pincer Attack!!

Mission 25 Briefing

An urgent message has arrived from the Republic Army's operations command...

According to that report, a large Imperial Army force is gathering at the Granbaros Mountains!

Therefore, our entire army is now heading to this location!

Fellow soldiers, this is a decisive battle from which we cannot back down! The resolve of Zenebas must be considerable too...

We stake our future on this battle! Everyone, be careful!

Mission 25 Title

Our destiny is in our hands...

Epilogue

Thanks to the heroic efforts of the Helic body double, the Republic Army succeeded in recapturing its territory from the Empire...

The body double, whose identity was kept top secret except to a select few in the Ultramarine Corps, returned triumphantly to the capital of the Republic under the name of Helic...

And he was honored with a two-rank promotion along with praise from Helic II himself...

In the subsequent history of Zoid warfare, the body double of Helic would go on to achieve a distinguished record in numerous battles...

However... his real name was never mentioned in the history of Zoid warfare...

The Imperial Army paid a heavy price when the Republic forces counterattacked, and they were forced to retreat after the Republic Army recaptured the occupied territories...

Having lost many soldiers and zoids, the Empire and the Republic found themselves once again at a stalemate...

This is not the end of the war... This is merely the calm before the storm... Of yet another battle...

Zenebas Empire Story

Chapter 1 Prologue

Having successfully invaded the Republic through a surprise attack, the Imperial Army, aiming to further expand their occupied territories, continued to send waves of troops into the heart of the Republic’s territory.

And they steadily proceeded with preparations to oppose the counterattack of the Republic Army.

Emperor Zenebas set the fall of the capital of the Republic as his ultimate goal and ordered all units to secure forward bases.

This is the story of a general of the Empire who led the Imperial Army's invasion and was given the mission to capture the capital city of the Republic...

Mission 1 Briefing

By order of Emperor Zenebas, our Imperial Army has launched a full-scale offensive with the objective of capturing the capital of the Republic...

From now on, our unit will operate as a unit directly under Emperor Zenebas...

You should feel honored!

Then, first, we’ll advance to the Gran Baros Mountains located on the central continent of Zoid and defeat the enemy!

After that, our medium-sized zoids unit will follow… Well, you could say they’ll serve as our guides...

For the operation, should we use our existing units, or should we purchase new Zoids from the factory and form a new unit with them?...

When forming a new unit, do not forget to purchase the parts to fit onto the Zoids, and don't forget to setup the unit too...

Alright! Get ready to sortie!

Mission 1 Title

The First Battle!!

Mission 2 Briefing

The battle of the Grand Baros Mountains... You fought well for your first battle...

Alright, I’ll announce the next mission...

We will break through the Lycan Valley and bring that area under our control... That is the plan...

Lycan Valley is known for its rugged terrain and is considered a difficult place to pass through... But with our strength, it should be no problem at all!

Once the plan is decided, act immediately! Prepare for sortie!

Mission 2 Title

Infiltrating enemy lines!!

Mission 3 Briefing

Lycan Valley has fallen into our hands... Therefefore...

The next point we will advance to is here...

We will capture the fort and make it our base! All right, let’s wipe out the remaining Republic Army forces in one fell swoop!

Mission 3 Title

Breaking Through the Defense Network!!

Mission 4 Briefing

With this, Fort Grant... is now under our army's control... Well done...

Now, your next mission is to go to Globally 3 and thoroughly investigate the area...

To this day, a magnetic field of unknown origin persists in this area, making it a difficult and dangerous place to traverse...

It’s unknown what lies within Globally 3, but there might be discoveries that could give our forces an advantage...

Alright, let's go!

Mission 4 Event

What's going on? What's with this instrument's reading? Is this due to the magnetic field here, too?...

...This magnetic reaction is stronger than I expected. This isn't good...

This magnetic field might cause some zoids to become uncontrollable...

Mission 4 Title

Top Secret Investigation

Mission 5 Briefing

A new operation order has been issued from the Imperial General Headquarters...

The plan is to advance from Fort Gray to Lake Gray and clear a path for our reinforcements...

Unlike our previous operations, this time we will be facing an enemy force that is a fairly well-equipped garrison...

That's all!

Mission 5 Title

March Forward!! Fort Grey

Mission 6 Briefing

Thank you all for your hard work... We are proceeding according to plan...

Next up is Lake Grey!

The enemy is located near the southern city...

If you're going to cross the lake, you'll need flying zoids... Be careful with your squad composition...

That's all!

Mission 6 Title

Battle on the Front Lines!!

Mission 7 Briefing

The enemies at Grey Lake have been wiped out...

With this, our reinforcement troops should be able to advance without any risks...

The following order was issued...

We are heading to Red River to cut off the supply routes to the Republic Army military facility in Port Floresio...

As you all know, there is a large Republic Army supply base in Red River...

If we capture this place, it will deal a heavy blow to the Republic Army, and our army will gain the upper hand...

Should the strategy be to concentrate our forces and launch a [Single-Point Breakthrough]?...

Or should we go with a [Scattering] and attack?...

Once you decide which strategy to implement, put it into action immediately! Prepare for sortie!

Mission 7 Title

Taking the Initiative in the Battle

Chapter 2 Prologue

“The Battle of Red River” Forced to retreat to Red River by the Imperial Army’s fierce offensive, the Republic Army reinforced its forces at Fort Crocket in an attempt to prevent the Imperial forces from breaking through the center of the region.

The Imperial Army successfully established a forward base at Red River, but the resistance of the Republic forces caused the battle to fluctuate back and forth, resulting in a stalemate between the two sides.

Mission 8 Briefing

Well done, everyone...

According to the higher-ups, Red River will be reborn as a forward base for our army...

...A new mission has been issued by headquarters...

Next, we're heading to Port Floresio...

It seems that a unit of the Republic Army is stranded here, unable to receive supplies from Red River...

Now's our chance! Let's give it our all and go for it!

Should we launch a [Ground Offensive] to defeat the enemy?...

Or should you attack from the sea launching a [Sea Offensive]? Assess your own forces and make your choice...

Mission 8 Title

Gojulas appears!!

Mission 9 Briefing

Port Floresio can be used as a transport base for our forces...

The command center must be pleased...

Our next mission has been decided... We're going to capture Cooper Bay and Cooper Port too...

The Imperial Fleet is heading there ahead of us...

We will provide support to the Imperial Fleet and deploy to Cooper Bay.

Do you want to execute a [Ground Offensive] to capture the port city?...

Or do you prefer to carry out a [Sea Offensive]? The choice is up to you...

That's all!

Mission 9 Event

"I am the commander of the Imperial Fleet... We were supposed to carry out a joint operation here, but the plan has gone awry..."

"I'm sorry, but I'll leave the rest to you..."

Well, I guess we have no choice... We'll have to carry out the mission on our own... Everyone, stay alert!

Mission 9 Title

The Imperial Fleet's Blunder

Mission 10 Briefing Cooper Bay, huh... That took longer than expected... It just goes to shows how desperate the enemy is...

Next, we will advance to Cooper Port as planned...

There are probably a considerable number of enemy units in Cooper Port as well...

Should we chose a [Ground Offensive] strategy?...

Or should we go with a [Amphibious Offensive] strategy? The decision is up to the commander...

Don't let your guard down!

Mission 10 Title

Fierce Battle at Cooper Port!!

Mission 11 Briefing

Our forces have been steadily seizing control of the territory of the Republic Army...

However, due to the unexpectedly strong performance of the Republic, the battle on the various front lines has begun to reach a stalemate...

So, in order to break through that, we were tasked with operating as a guerrilla unit... Our strength has been recognized!

Our next destination is the Albe-Church Trench...

We'll resupply here before the next operation...

Alright, let's go!

Mission 11 Title

Reorganization of Forces

Mission 12 Briefing

As you all know, on Cecilia Peninsula there is a large artillery battery belonging to the Republic Army...

This gun battery is blocking our Imperial Fleet’s path to Helic Bay...

If we try to break through by force, heavy losses will be inevitable... And it will also affect the overall strength of our army too...

Therefore, we will proceed through Mount Cecilia and so we will head to the Cecilia Peninsula...

The Republic Army must also consider this place as a crucial point for defense too... It’s going to be a fierce battle!

Mission 12 Title

Steady Advance

Mission 13 Briefing

The enemy forces at Mount Cecilia have been wiped out...

We’re finally heading out to seize control of the large artillery battery on the Cecilia Peninsula!

A large defense force of the Republic Army is lying in wait here...

There’s no way around it...

This will be a battle on a scale we've never experienced before!

Everyone, be prepared!

Mission 13 Title

Attack on the Large Gun Battery!!

Chapter 3 Prologue

“The Occupation of Red River” Through waves of attacks from the Imperial forces from many fronts, the Republic Army finally withdrew from Red River and a vast amount of territory was occupied, including Red River.

Although the Imperial Army held an overwhelming advantage on the battlefield, they still had to defeat many more Republic forces before the capital could fall.

The real battle was yet to come...

Mission 14 Briefing

Early this morning... Emperor Zenebas sent us words of praise...

"The unit's performance this time... was outstanding... But don't let this go to your heads, and keep pushing forward"... ...that's what he said...

This unit has finally come to be recognized as an elite unit representing the Imperial Army...

The way you're treated and your working conditions will change significantly... But don't forget that this comes with a great responsibility...

The next strategic objective is the Gorgodas Strait...

We have received information that the Republic Army forces stationed at Port Cook have moved.

As a preliminary step before taking Port Cook, we will capture this location...

That's all!

Mission 14 Title

The Bloodstained Gorgodas Strait

Mission 15 Briefing

The Gorgodas Strait operation... You did a great job...

Next, although it’s a long distance away, our unit is heading to the Central Mountain Range of the Zoid continent...

I don't know what went wrong, but our general has been surrounded by the Republic Army in that place and is unable to move...

It's ridiculous, but we can't just ignore it, since it's an order from our headquarters...

Our mission is to rescue the general... We will make that our top priority!

Mission 15 Title

A Life-Threatening Rescue

Mission 16 Briefing

The rescue operation was successfully completed...

Next we will head to Port Cook to capture the adjacent naval base...

Capturing Port Cook is a crucial first step towards taking Fort Cook...

Our forces advances in various regions have been remarkable, and we can’t afford to fall behind...

Alright, let's go!

Mission 16 Title

Fierce Resistance!!

Mission 17 Briefing

We have successfully completed the operation at Port Cook...

Next up is Fort Cook...

This place is surrounded by icebergs, and it could be called a natural fortress...

This could be even more troublesome for us than the enemy zoids...

Instead of trying to advance directly to the main camp, we should secure the surrounding area first before moving forward...

Let's go!

Mission 17 Title

A Natural Fortress

Mission 18 Briefing

We inquired with General Headquarters about ressuplying, but unfortunately, due to the ongoing fierce fighting in various areas, we have been told that no supplies will be sent to us...

...So, in that case, we’ll have to procure supplies on our own...

Therefore, we will head to Blood Rock...

Regarding the next strategic objective, a telegram has arrived from general headquarters...

If we can analyze the enemy zoids' blueprints, this will make our forces' advance against the Republic much easier...

The possible strategies are to concentrate our forces and advance with a [Ground Offensive]...

Or disperse our forces and proceed with an [Amphibious Offensive], these are the two main strategies to consider...

I wish you the best of luck!

Mission 20 Briefing

By the way, General Headquarters mentioned sending reinforcements, but it seems that their arrival has been delayed due to the cold wave and the fierce blizzard...

Our unit will continue southward, in order to capture the Republic Army's Zoid Factory...

From a long term perspective, it can be said that this is a very important facility for our military...

That's all! Let's sortie!

Mission 21 Event

W-What is that!? That huge thing... Is that a new zoid from the Republic Army...?

What incredible firepower... We can't win if we fight head-on... If we're not careful, we might be wiped out...!?

No, that thing should have only recently been deployed in combat...

In that case, the pilots probably can't handle it properly yet... That's our only chance!
