Super Robot Spirits is a very early spinoff of the Super Robot Wars series. Unlike most SRW games, instead of being a tactical role-playing game, SRS is a 1vs1 3D fighting game. Battles take place in a 3D space with combatants able to fly through the air, making it somewhat similar to the later-released Dragon Ball Z Budokai.
