Super Robot Wars/Shin/Story/Stage 04
Junko: This is Lieutenant Junko Jenko of the Earth Defense Force Nordic Branch! We are under attack by aliens! Requesting backup!
Midori: Doctor! A transport plane from the EDF Nordic Branch just put out an SOS!
Dr. Daimonji: An SOS? It must be serious. Pete, get the Daiku Maryu ready for takeoff.
Pete: Understood. Daiku Maryu, taking off!
- Scenario 4 The League Militaire -
Pete: We have visual on the transport plane. It’s under attack!
Pete: Damn! Did we make it in time?
Watta: Something just jumped out!
Sakon: Those are mobile suits! I don’t recognize them...must be a new model.
Ippei: Who cares about what model they are! We’re here to rescue them!
Dr. Daimonji: Ippei’s right. All hands, attack!
- TURNS LATER -
Asimov: What!!! Reinforcements?!? No matter, I’ll finish them all off together!
- TURNS LATER -
Asimov: What’s the hold-up?!? Take them down!
- ALL ENEMIES DESTROYED EXCEPT ASIMOV -
Asimov: Hm, this isn’t going the way I hoped. They might even destroy us...
- ASIMOV RETREATS, BATTLE END -
Heinel: Jangal!!! Was it your bright idea to send out one of Sharkin’s men?!? Of all the buffoons! This is disgraceful! Embarrassing!
Jangal: Of course not, Lord Heinel! I don’t even remember being assigned to command this attack!
Heinel: What?!? So...who was in command this time?
Jangal: Uh...well… You know, I have no idea...
Catherine: Lord Heinel, we have General Asimov on the line.
Asimov: Lord Heinel, it’s been a while since I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with you.
Heinel: Asimov, were you in command during this battle we just saw?
Asimov: Oh, my deepest apologies for that unpleasant sight.
Catherine: Asimov, you and Sharkin are in charge of conquering northern Europe. Don’t you think the Far East is a bit outside your purview?
Asimov: We were chasing some fleeing Terrans, that’s the only reason we are here. We meant no disrespect.
Catherine: So you’re saying you weren’t under orders from Lord Sharkin? It’s just a coincidence that you ended up in our turf?
Asimov: Why yes, that’s it, precisely.
Heinel: I see. I will forgive this transgression. However! I will not allow you to trespass on my territory again! I will make sure of that myself.
Asimov: Yes my lord. I will keep that in mind!
Dankel: They really raked you over the coals, Asimov.
Asimov: Ah, Dankel! Isn’t it infuriating? A greenhorn like Heinel, with a command of his own.
Dankel: Take heart, Asimov.
Asimov: Who needs lords like Heinel or Sharkin anyway?
Dankel: All things are as Great Emperor Darius wills them. Have patience, and his plan will be made clear.
Asimov: ...All right, all right.
