Personality Types

Each character has a set personality type, which affects when and how they gain Will during battle.

Hit: Effect on Will when the pilot hits the target.
Miss: Effect on Will when the pilot's attack misses.
Damaged: Effect on Will when the pilot gets hit.
Evade: Effect on Will when the pilot dodges an attack.
Defeat: Effect on Will when the pilot shoots down an enemy.
Ally Lost: Effect on Will when an allied unit is shot down.

• All personality types gain +1 Will when another ally shoots down an enemy.
  
• Damage nullified by Jammers, Barriers, Counter Cut and Double Image skills are all treated as an Evasion.
• Using the Spirit Command Detonate will have all remaining ally pilots receive Will changes based on Ally Lost.
• When using a MAP weapon: +1 Will per enemy defeated, 0 will changes when used if no target is defeated.

• The personality type for sub-pilots is currently unknown and requires further investigation. However, their Will and personality type does not have much effect (if any) on the unit's performance compared to the personality and stats of the main pilot.
