General Gameplay Hints

Keyboard Hotkeys

  • Up/Down Arrow: Increase/decrease speed
  • Left/Right Arrow: Turn ship to the left/right
  • 1-7: Toggle weapon group state (manual, auto, disabled)
  • Numpad 0: Toggle anti-surface or anti-aircraft mode
  • Ctrl: Toggle free look camera
  • Insert/Home/Page Up: Launch onboard aircraft
  • Delete/End/Page Down: Recall deployed aircraft

Returning to Base

Once primary objective is completed, you must press the red 脱出 (Withdraw) button at the lower right side of the interface when you're near the edge of the map to complete the mission. Leaving the map before primary objective is completed will fail the mission instead. In PS2 port, you only need to move to the edge of the map to complete the mission.

Lifeboats

Rescuing 10 lifeboats grants an consumable repair kit that can instantly restore a few health and fuel

Transport Ships

Generic transport ships may drop random item that gives extra money. Extremely rare red colored transport ships as well as Superweapons drops P item that contains rare parts that aren't usually obtainable from shop/research.

New Area Data

By loading the game from New Area Data selection, you start over from the beginning of the selected Area while keeping your progression. This can be used as an alternative for grinding/farming rare parts from certain stage or boss.

Rank and Allowance Rewards

Additional mission completion allowance is rewarded depending on player rank and ship class used
