Warehouse Abuse

Short version. Have no equipment on at all! Use a Jar of Change that is already saved inside of warehouse. If you don't get the effect you like, power off, and try again.

In the Warehouse in Bamboo Village, have a saved Jar of Change and 1 throw away item for each slot. (Save your warehouse simply by leaving it). Also, be sure not to have any equipment on before trying this (perferably also no gitan). Now just enter the warehouse, pick up all your trash items and insert them into your Jar of Change, if you don't get an item you want, turn your DS off. This will result in a corrupt save, and you would of lost all your items and money you had before entering the warehouse. But since you didn't have anything, you can just rinse and repeat till you get your desired item.

In theory you could use this to get the +3 bonus out of a Scroll of Air or Earth or even bless all your equipment or something like that, but I don't think those are as practical. it also would help to have several Jars of Change. In theory, with the 25 warehouse spaces you get, you could have up to 20 "junk" items and 4 Jars of Change.
