(Command Room, Lonlon and Nanako, Lonlon types something on the keyboard)

Lonlon: ...... Roger. Does that conclude all the issues on your side?

(Manami enters)

Nanako: Ah, Manami-san...!

Manami: [?] Communication...? Where from...?

Nanako: Uhhhhm... I'm not sure, but it seems to be some high-position person from a defense squad...

Seia's voice: Thank you.

Manami: In that case, we'll be waiting for you.

(Military camp, Seia and McCrane, both from J-Decker)

Seia: Let's go, McCrane...!

McCrane: ... Roger!

(VARS Briefing Room: Kouta, Yuuta, Seiji, Katori, Kenta, Ryuu, Rai and Shizuma. Manami enters)

Manami: Please come in...

Seia's voice: Pardon the intrusion!

(Seia follows Manami inside)

Yuuta: [!] Ah, you're...!

Seia: (salutes) I am First Class Field Officer Onoue Seia, assigned from the Land Defense Army North-East Side Batallion's 9th Division to the Special Intelligence Squad! According to Special Case number 813, I have come here with orders to deliver informational data!

Katori: (salutes) I am Fighbird of the Space Police Squad!

Kenta: (fusses next to Katori) Ka-Katori-nii-chan...!

Katori: [!] Ah, you're right... I had another name! (salutes) I am Katori Yuutarou, assigned to the Amano Rescue Squad!

Seiji: ... Y'know, you don't have to salute all the time.

Seiji: It's kinda weird... What is that, anyway?

Kenta: A railway cannon...?

Manami: A railway cannon is a large cannon you mount on a railway tray and is fired while on the railway.

Lonlon: (types something) That’s…! That recognition code is… from the Brave Police!?

(Eyecatch: J-Decker: Regina, Ayako, Seia, Azuki, Yuuta, Kurumi. Deckerd in the background)

(Map: On top of the Moby Dick, 6 Raptors show up, McCrane is facing them)

McCrane: … So they did show up. It seems I was right about waiting here. (com-link sound) This is McCrane. I have encountered enemies on top of the Moby Dick!

(Back to Briefing Room)

Yuuta: [!] (phone-like sound) … McCrane!? I’m glad, I had been worried because I couldn’t contact you!

McCrane’s voice: I apologize for worrying you, Boss!

Yuuta: No, it’s okay as long as you’re alright, McCrane!

McCrane’s voice: Boss… Give me an order!

Yuuta: Got it…! McCrane! Beat the enemy and protect the Moby Dick!!

(Manami moves to a com-link device thing)

Manami: Lonlon!

Lonlon’s voice: That goes without saying…! OK! Ready when you are!!

Manami: … You heard her!

(Everyone nods, Manami raises her first)

Manami: Alri~ght! Everyone, sortie!!

(Deployment screen: 3 units)

(If you deploy Shadowmaru)

McCrane: … Shadowmaru! I see, you protected the Boss all along.

Shadowmaru: Master Deckerd asked me, after all. (note: he calls him “Deckerd no danna”, which is a weird mix of respect – from ninja to master – and informal speech)

Clear Condition: Defeat all enemies!

(When you do that, stage clear)

(Flashback, mountain)

Seia: … That day, McCrane was on a special mission and was acting along with our Defense Army.

Yuuta: … That’s right, you said you were investigating the volcano that had suddenly turned active, right?

Seia: Yes… And while we were there, we were caught up in that earthquake.

(Flashback, Military camp, Seia and McCrane)

Seia: Any signs of explosion…!? (All soldiers shake their heads, Seia looks down) How strange for an earthquake to start so suddenly…

McCrane: ……! Seia-san…! This earthquake wasn’t caused by volcanic activity!!

Seia: What did you say…!?

McCrane: I’ve calculated the epicenter’s position based on the tremor and it seems this earthquake is happening on a worldwide scale!

Seia: No way…! A worldwide earthquake…?

McCrane: At any rate, this place is dangerous! We should retreat for now!!

Seia: Understood. (turns to soldiers and points) Everyone, retreat! (soldiers salute)

(Back to the present, Briefing Room, everyone who was there before the mission)

Seia: When we came back there to investigate the volcano again…

Shizuma: You found that railway cannon wannabe…

Seia: (nods) Yes. (salutes) … This concludes my report.

Manami: A terrible top-secret piece of information and a reliable comrade… Thanks! Duly accepted!

Seia: In that case, I shall take my leave…

Yuuta: Eh…? Aren’t you coming with us, Seia-san?

Seia: (nods) I am going back to the Defense Squad’s HQ as part of my mission to ensure VARS’s logistical support.

Kenta: Logistical support, huh… That sounds kinda cool!

Seia: Even so, we will be able to help you quite a bit! Please count on us!!

Yuuta: Thanks you, Seia-san…!

(Blare’s lair, Blare)

Blare: … Soon. Be prepared, Braves…!
