it translates 99% of the game into english. as far as i can tell this includes the full plot, spirits, characters, attack names ect.

the only parts untranslated is some misc stuff. some remaining untranslated stuff will show a box of english dialouge explaining it if you mouse over the japanese text. this i assume is because some stuff was to much of a pain to translate in the very small room that was available. you should be able to play the game start to finish without any japanese knowledge.
