Banagher Links (バナージ・リンクス Banāji Rinkusu) is the main protagonist of Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. Initially a technical student for Anaheim Electronics, his encounter with the Vist Foundation and the Unicorn Gundam quickly escalate his role in the conflict as he becomes its pilot and becomes a pivotal force behind the Laplace Incident that would be the turning point of a new century in the Universal Century Gundam timeline. Later his is the pilot of the ARX-014S Silver Bullet Suppressor in Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative, after Unicorn Gundam was sealed away.

Personality
Banagher is a gentle and kind young man, although he tends to keep things to himself and maintain a distance from his friends. While Banagher may come off as naive and oblivious to the working of politics, he has a iron will that allows him to focus and achieve whatever he may desire with the power of the Gundam Unicorn. His evolving Newtype powers allow him to even exert mercy on his opponents, sparing them from major harm. Often he will come to terms that he is not able to do enough to save others or be an impact for both his allies and enemies, but that only pushes further to grow up and guide the fate of the Universal Century and humanity with his own hands. Overall, he wishes for mankind to prosper and take the initiative to their own lives, which is why he willing to fight both the Federation and Zeon in hopes of getting rid of ghosts from the past and move on to a brighter future.
Appearances In Super Robot Wars
Banagher and his Unicorn Gundam are one of the few exceptions of pilot and mobile suit versatility with Gundam series since the Unicorn Gundam is linked to Banagher's biometrics, and thus cannot be used by anyone else. However, this makes Banagher and his Unicorn Gundam a force to be reckoned especially once Banagher unlocks the Unicorn's full potential.

Banagher is, like the OVA series, a technical student for Anaheim Electronics. Unlike the series, he actually appears first on Earth in Japan with his friends under the tutelage of Saji Crossroad from Mobile Suit Gundam 00 The Movie: A Wakening of the Trailblazer. He is briefly transferred over to Industrial 7, where the initial events of Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn unfold should players decide to take play through the space route on stage 10.
