Personality And Traits
Ring Mao, in her Classic Timeline incarnation, is an 18-year old female, who has a small distrust for men, due to her placement in one of the four original character archetypes of Super Robot Wars F. In her Alpha and Original Generation incarnations, Ring is depicted to be 10 years older than her F counterpart, sporting a completely new physical appearance than the one she had in F, looking more like a businesswoman than a playful young adult. The Alpha and Original Generation Ring is no longer a pilot, but rather the second generation president of Mao Industries, a manufacturer of super and real robots, though she is still capable of piloting a mech, if the situation calls for it. Mitsuko Isurugi, head of Isurugi Industries, is her competition, in producing the best line of mechs. Ring's policy is unlike other corporations, she will never use attempts, such as selling out assets, in order to make her company profitable.
Ring, in her F incarnation, loves to keep multiple cats as pets and cooks, although her dishes, such as her mayonnaise curry, doesn't exactly go well for the people trying it. In all of her incarnations, she is close with Irmgult Kazahara, but doesn't appreciate the fact that he flirts with every woman he meets. In the Alpha and Original Generation universes, Ring is exceptionally furious when she discovers him having tea with a female employee at Mao Industries. Regardless, the two of them hold a very strong friendship, and through the years they've known each other, have learned how to function proficiently as a couple.
