Note: The following script is based on the Selene version of the stage. Dialogue may vary significantly when playing as other characters.

Bright: Alright everyone, here’s our present situation.

Bright: It seems two battleships from Byston Well have appeared here on the surface

Bright: Here...

Bright: ...And here.

Bright: According to Marvel, the first is Queen Ciela’s Gran-Galan, and the second is Queen Elle’s Goraon.

Amuro: We want to add them both to our forces, however we can only realistically reach one of them. They’re both evenly matched in battle, so it’s not a big deal tactically which one we choose.

Selene: We’ll be in great danger no matter which way we go.

Amuro: That’s about the size of it. Show, which of them do you think we should meet up with?

Show: …I’m not sure. They’re both very important people in the world of Byston Well.

Cham: Yeah, there’s no way I can choose between Queen Ciela and Queen Elle…

Bright: Then we’ll have to decide for ourselves.

Koji: Captain… Which one is hotter?

Sayaka: Koji!!!!!!

Tetsuya: Good grief. I’m ashamed to even be on the same team as this guy…

Koji: The hell did you just say?!?

Jun: Both of you, stop! You should be ashamed.

Ryo: ...I can’t be as flippant about this as Koji is, but I do have to admit - it’s hard to make a decision without more information.

Bright: Well... What are the characteristics of the two ships? The Gran-Galan and the Goraon.

Show: The Goraon is more offense-oriented, due to the aura nova cannon on its front.

Cham: Queen Ciela’s ship is more like a flying castle.

Ryo: I see… Selene, what do you think?

Join up with Ciela <-

Join up with Elle

Selene: …If it’s up to me, I would say the Gran-Galan.

Bright: Hm… Anyone else have an opinion?

Bright: …I’ll take that as a no. We’ll be heading toward the area that Queen Ciela of Byston Well was last seen in. Assume your stations.

-

Gresco: …Is that you, Le Cain?

Le Cain: Father, there are things I need to know. Why are you stopping me from hunting down the Layzner? Why did you have this “saint” abducted? I know you are holding her in Grados Tower. Father, please, reveal it all to me today.

Gresco: Le Cain. I hear that your search-and-destroy mission against the resistance forces was a great success. As commander of the occupation forces, you must devote yourself completely to the subjugation of the Earth. If you are focused on insignificant matters like these, you can not fulfill your duty.

Le Cain: What are you hiding, Father! My forces do not require constant attention; soon they will have all of the Earth in their grip. Now I want to hear what you’re thinking. The masses and even some of our more foolish soldiers are ready to riot over this matter of the Saint’s disappearance. Father!

Gresco: …Le Cain… Everything I do is for your sake.

Le Cain: ...What are you talking about?

Gresco: You believe the people of the Empire to be superior to the Terrans.

Le Cain: That is an undeniable and obvious truth.

Gresco: “Great men should lead, and the innocent masses should follow.” Is this not the principle that your rule is founded upon?

Le Cain: Indeed. Father, what are you trying to tell me?

Gresco: Le Cain, come again tomorrow.

Le Cain: …I see. I trust that you will make everything clear tomorrow, Father.

Gresco: ......

- Scenario 15 The Road Stained with Blood -

Quattro: Captain, we just got a message from General Blex.

Bright: Good, so the General is safe. So, what did he say?

Quattro: Like we thought, both the Earth Liberation Front and Karaba have been damaged so badly that rebuilding will be nearly impossible.

Bright: Sure enough… So what should we do now?

Quattro: Blex himself is working with Director Igor to reorganize around points in Asia that the Empire’s attack missed. However...

Bright: So it’s true; we’re the last group with any real fighting strength left.

Quattro: Yes. If we are destroyed, there will be no hope for rebuilding an effective resistance. The General acknowledges this, and says that we should act on our own judgment for the time being.

Amuro: This is going to be tricky. We can’t count on any backup, can we?

Quattro: They know that we’re making for continental Asia, and are preparing to resupply us there as much as they can.

Bright: So… That’ll be the last help we get.

Quattro: If we can meet with the resupply convoy at all that is.

Amuro: Where are they?

Quattro: They are going to meet us at the location of the Byston Well battleship. Speaking of, I assume you’ve decided which way we’re going?

Bright: Yeah.

Quattro: Then let’s just hope it all works out.

-

Ryo: No matter which way we go from here, there’s a chance the enemy will discover us.

Shinobu: Yeah. Captain, we’ve been able to avoid the enemy so far, but isn’t that battleship we were talking about probably already under fire?

Bright: That’s correct. Be ready to launch anytime.

Shinobu: Got it!

Amuro: It’s rare to see you on the bridge, Shinobu.

Shinobu: Since we ran into Shapiro, Sara’s had even more of a hair trigger than usual. I’m trying to keep my distance for now, you know?

Amuro: Shapiro Keats… Back during the war against the Empire, I heard he was kicked out of General HQ for suggesting surrender before the fighting even began.

Shinobu: He was so angry about that that he double-crossed us and went to the Empire. If I hadn’t stepped in, Sara would still be caught up with that guy.

Bright: But I didn’t hear anything about Shapiro being involved with the Empire after the war… And I wonder why we found him with those forces from Byston Well.

Beltorchika: Captain Bright.

Bright: What is it?

Beltorchika: Our contacts up ahead have a report. They spotted a ship disguised in the mountains that resembles the Gran-Galan.

Bright: Can we get there? And is there any sign of the enemy?

Beltorchika: They seem to be in the clear for now, sir.

Amuro: We’re lucky to have found them first. Now all we need is to find the supply convoy.

Bright: Good, full speed to the Gran-Galan. Show, Marvel, when we get close, go ahead and confirm the situation.

Show: Yes sir!

- BATLE START -

Show: Is everything alright?

Marvel: Looks like it. I hope Queen Ciela is okay.

Show: This is Show Zama in the Dunbine. Gran-Galan, please respond!

Ciela: Show…? Show Zama? Is it really you?!?

Show: Ciela Rapahna? Are you safe?

Ciela: We’ve been under attack for quite some time. I wouldn’t say we’re doing well.

Marvel: Queen Ciela, we’re working with rebel forces from the surface world. One of their battleships will be here soon; is it okay if they approach?

Ciela: Marvel, you’re here too? Are they trustworthy? I heard that the surface has been invaded by people from a world among the stars.

Show: Yes, and Drake has joined forces with them! We’ve been doing battle with them already.

Ciela: Drake Luft…I knew it. I see now. Let’s meet these rebels.

Cham: Alright!

Ciela: Show Zama, Marvel Frozen… I’m so glad you both came…

Show: No, really, I’m sorry we didn’t come sooner.

Marvel: Show, here comes the Albion.

Bright: So, that’s the Gran-Galan…

Ginrei: The Dunbine’s signal flare confirmed. Looks like everything’s okay.

Bright: Prepare to bring the Albion alongside the Gran-Galan.

Beltorchika: We have an urgent message from an Ensign Kou Uraki who's with the supply convoy! They’re under attack by the enemy!

Amuro: What?!? Where are they?

Beltorchika: They’re closeby, Amuro!

Bright: Damn it! All hands, battle stations! Hurry up and get all the pilots out there! Do we have a visual?

Ginrei: I see them! The supply convoy’s Medeas!

Kou: They’re going to catch us! This is Kou Uraki of the supply convoy! Please, hurry!

Marvel: Show, the convoy!

Ciela: Show Zama, go ahead. The Gran-Galan should be just fine.

Show: Okay, Ciela Rapahna. Stay safe.

- TURNS LATER, GIULAR SPAWNS -

Giular: These apes are getting away with far too much. Show no mercy!

- ALL ENEMIES DEFEATED -

Bright: …Is it over?

Beltorchika: Hold on… Unidentified units approaching.

Bright: More enemies?

Gyukenki: Finally, we’ve caught up. So, you bastards are the ones who did this? I am Gyukenki of the Hyakki Clan, and I am here to claim vengeance for the death of my son!

- GYUKENKI DEFEATED -

Gyukenki: You...you!!!

- BATTLE END -

Rain: Mr. Astonaige, what do you think?

Astonaige: Yeah, with these supplies we’ll be in good shape for a while. Maintenance will be no problem.

Rain: Hm, you know you’ve really been burning the candle at both ends lately.

Astonaige: Aw shucks. I’ll be fine.

Domon: Rain, if you have time to chit-chat, you have time to work! The Shining Gundam needs adjustments, the right hand is moving too slow.

Rain: Really, Domon! You know, I get tired and need a break too! Why don'T you look around and learn a little bit about how to treat other people!

Domon: The Shining Gundam's maintenance is your responsibility!

Masato: My my, Ms. Rain. I know what’s going on here. Domon gets jealous when he sees you talking to other men!

Domon: N-n......

Simone: Domon, really. That’s no way to treat a woman. You should be up-front with your feelings!

Domon: Don’t tell me how I can or can’t talk!!!

Ryo: The queen of Byston Well is here, you know? Show some respect and pipe down.

Domon: Tch!

-

Bright: …So, that’s the state of things. Do you think you can help us out?

Ciela: …I understand now. We must put an end to Drake’s ambitions in this world. Let’s join our forces.

Bright: Right. There’s still a lot to discuss, but I’m looking forward to working together with you.

Ciela: The surface world is unfamiliar to us. We’ll be relying on you to help guide our actions here.

Cham: Wow, Queen Ciela totally gets it!

Show: Cham, keep your mouth shut for a change, would you?

Cham: What???

Quattro: So, how are repairs to your ship going?

Ciela: We have thankfully been free of enemy attacks recently, so I believe we should be nearly finished.

Quattro: Very good. Once repairs are complete, we’ll depart this area.

-

Bright: Your name is Ensign Uraki? You’ll be coming with us, right?

Kou: Yes sir. General Blex gave me orders to do so.

Quattro: Like the General said, he plans to reinforce our fighting unit as much as he possibly can.

Bright: Spreading our fighting forces out just isn’t an option now. I don’t know what the future holds, Ensign, but I look forward to fighting with you.

Kou: Understood, sir. I think…well, we have Gundams on our side, right? So I feel like we’re going to be okay.

Amuro: Really?

Kou: Yes sir! That’s how I feel when I see a Gundam!

-

Gresco: …You’ve arrived…

Le Cain: Father. I want to hear what you have to say.

Gresco: Mm...

Carla: ...Sir, I've brought the woman.

Julia: ...

Le Cain: I knew it!

Gresco: Julia… Go ahead and explain to Le Cain.

Julia: Le Cain. Your notion that people of the Empire are superior to people of Earth is mistaken. People of the Empire…well, at least the Gradosians, are equal to the Terrans. In fact, Terrans and Gradosians are species that share a common ancestor.

Le Cain: Hah! Less than a minute into your little speech and already you’re spouting nonsense.

Julia: No, it’s true. The ancestors of both Gradosians and Terrans were completely identical.

Le Cain: Shut up, Julia! Father, how long will you allow this nonsense to go on?!?

Julia: Please listen, Le Cain. The reason your father had me brought here, the reason he stopped you from going after Layzner is that he feared what would happen to you if you discovered this secret on your own. He didn’t want the shock of it to hurt you.

Le Cain: Such insolence! As if such absurdity could do injury to someone like me! Father, are you going to allow Julia to stand here and slander our people like this?!?

Gresco: …Le Cain, everything Julia has said today is true.

Le Cain: Father, no!!!

Gresco: Powerful Gradosians, and indeed all people of status in the Empire, will eventually learn of this.

Le Cain: What are you saying?!?

Gresco: Le Cain… You have failed to learn the core principles of power. The first thing a wise leader knows is the evil within his own heart. Endless blood has been split on many planets to maintain the domination of the Empire, you must know this.

Le Cain: And this is why the superior must be allowed to rule! So as to not waste the blood that has been shed!

Gresco: What does it mean to be superior? Is it in your education? Your breeding? Culture? Lineage? Appearance? Who can say? It’s entirely unclear. A ruler can only govern if they have the power to do so - the power to suppress others. This power can only be called “evil.”

Le Cain: ......

Gresco: We need a leader who can first recognize the evil within himself. A man who, even knowing this, can transcend it, and do what must be done. This is how the Muge Zorbados Empire came to rule the stars in the first place.

Carla: ......

Gresco: As I thought, you are still too inexperienced to serve as commander of an occupation force, Le Cain.

Le Cain: That’s just your ideal, Father! And it is not one that I share. The strong must rule, and the weak must obey!

Gresco: Even a fool and an idiot could govern well, by your standards.

Le Cain: No! Only the superior few can claim power and hold it!

Gresco: You still do not understand!!!

Le Cain: You are the one who doesn’t understand! You are simply trying to escape the pressure of being a ruler!

Gresco: I’ve heard enough out of you, Le Cain! Away from me, now!

Le Cain: Father, please, wait!

Gresco: I have thought too highly of you, my son. You are still just a child.

Le Cain: Father, that’s unfair! You believe I’m unfit to lead, just because I don’t agree with your ideals?

Gresco: Le Cain…I hereby relieve you of your command.

Le Cain: Father...Father!!!

Gresco: Away from me!

Le Cain: Grr...Urgh...

Carla: What?!? Le Cain, no, stop!!!

- GUNSHOT SOUND EFFECT -

Gresco: Gu…ah…Le Cain…

Le Cain: I....I...

Gresco: Oh…… The rule of the Empire…for your own sake…the truth of my death…secret…keep it secret…

Le Cain: Tch....Fatheeerrr!!!

Gresco: ......Carla...

Carla: ?!? Why......why......

Le Cain: Father......

Gresco: You must…the secret…protect…Julia…kill Julia too…

Le Cain: Father?!? Fatheeerrr!!!
