Ryo: What a mess...
Sayaka: Yeah…nearly every resistance base in the world was destroyed...
Anna: It’s unbelievable... How could they could hit so many places so hard, all at once..
Roux: It’s definitely fishy. It all happened too fast.
Anna: I wonder if...other Earthlings give away the location of all the bases...?
David: No doubt. A bunch of dog-faced traitors, like that son of a bitch Roan.
Selene: It can’t be helped. People will do what they have to in order to survive. If they don’t have the strength of will to resist, they'll turn to the Empire. That’s simply the way it is now.
David: Geez, what a time to be alive.

Duo: Yo! Did you hear about the “Saints of Cusco?” They’re a group protesting the Empire’s anti-resistance efforts in America. I’m surprised they haven’t been crushed yet.
Anna: Wow, so the rumors are true!
Emma: Why are they called the “Saints of Cusco?”
Anna: They say they're led by a holy woman, offering hope to those who have been oppressed by the Empire. I heard she started in Cusco, in South America.
Duo: Well you know, I’m not exactly a big believer in non-violent resistance. They want to go around criticizing Gresco, but won’t carry a gun? Sounds like a short road to a shallow grave, to me.
Anna: I think it's wonderful! Even some Imperial soldiers have put down their weapons and joined them.
Eiji: What’s the name of this saint?
Duo: Well you know, I’m not exactly a big believer in non-violent resistance. They want to go around criticizing Gresco, but won’t carry a gun? Sounds like a short road to a shallow grave, to me.

Bright: Eiji, you mean? Yes, I gave him permission to launch.
Amuro: What is he doing?
Bright: He thinks this “holy woman” we’ve heard about may be his sister. He can’t fight with something like that hanging over his head, so I let him go investigate.

Shiro: (Wait...a picture fell out when the watch opened. Aina Sahalin...and this man next to her must be...her boyfriend?!? Well, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, a gorgeous woman like her.)

Quatre: Rashid, everyone, I'm so happy to see you well!
Rashid: Master Quatre, I’m glad you’re safe. Everyone, please relax. We’ll get to working on your battleship right away, and we’ll repair your units while we’re at it.
Quatre: Are you sure it's no bother?
Bright: Thanks for all this. We really have nowhere else to go.
Rashid: Leave it all to us. All our hopes are pinned on you now, so we’ll do everything we can. Hey guys, get started on the repairs already!
Maganac Soldier: Yes sir!!!

Rashid: Because almost all resistance forces have been wiped out, the Empire is proceeding with renewed vigor. In addition, the Specials have been authorized to operate in space now, in recognition of their contribution to the mop-up operation.
Simone: Terrible. They stepped all over their fellow Terrans’ lives, all to promote their own standing in the Empire.
Rashid: We’ve received intelligence that they’re already preparing to launch their forces into space, from their base near Lake Victoria in Africa.
Quattro: Hm... Captain, I think it would be good for us to strike before that can happen.
Bright: We can’t afford to make a careless move now. However, on the other hand… If we do nothing, the Empire will totally consolidate their power.
Ryo: Let’s give it a try, Captain. We can’t sit on our thumbs now anyway, or else we’ll get so far behind that we'll never win.
Professor Yumi: I think this is the correct course. We haven’t been defeated yet. Any of the Karaba researchers who escaped the Empire will be building up new fighting strength. We just need to hold out until they’re done.
Sayaka: Father...
Koji: Let’s take the fight to them, Captain! We can’t let those guys get away with this!
Bright: All right. All hands! Our next target is the Lake Victoria base.
Koji: Now that’s what I’m talking about!
Rashid: We in the Maganac Corp will go too.

Bright: Still, I’m sorry. Astonaige, are repairs complete yet?

Rashid: Let us handle this. You should all go ahead to Lake Victoria.
Amuro: But with numbers like this...
Rashid: The Maganac Corps can handle it. Never forget, you are the best hope for mankind now. The day will come when we can fight together for our planet once again.
Bright: We’re all counting on you too.
Quatre: Rashid, guys, take care of yourselves.

Roan: Perhaps they have a spy within our inner ranks.
La Cain: A spy? ...A spy you say? …How interesting. If I’m not mistaken, you fought together with Eiji three years ago against our Empire, did you not?
Roan: If you have doubts about me, sir, you may execute me here and now. I will accept it.

Ryo: It’s still secure, right?
Quattro: There’s no way to be sure. However, Banjo from Karaba told us that anti-Imperial movements all throughout South America have been arming themselves. That would be impossible without a huge cache of weapons to draw from.
Apolly: So our next destination is South America?
Bright: Yes. For now, everyone needs to rest up while they can.
