Show: Beijing...it’s just a ruin now.
Kamille: It’s like this everywhere. No city survived the Empire’s orbital bombardment. They’re all lost to us now.
Show: Aliens… I still can’t believe this is real.
Shinobu: Hey, that’s my line. So Byston Well is "another world?" And you enter it through “the gap between sea and shore?” Come on, man, that’s ridiculous.
Masato: Seeing is believing, Shinobu!
Shinobu: Oh yeah, that...thing. Well, I guess I’m a believer now.
Cham: Everyooone! ~Time to eeeaaat~
Roux: It’s got wings...it can fly… I guess it really is a fairy...
Show: She’s not a fairy, she’s a “Mi Ferario.” Cham, what are you doing?
Cham: What do you mean “what are you doing?” I've got a job to do around here! ...Hey, why is everyone staring at me?

Apolly: Are we really meeting them in a place like this?
Bright: That’s what we were told... They seem to be late though.
Amuro: It’s possible they made contact with the enemy.
Bright: What's that?!?
Beltorchika: Unidentified aircraft approaching!
Amuro: Is it them?
Beltorchika: I don’t think so, something’s not right...
Bright: Let’s check it out. All hands, report to battle stations, just in case.
- Scenario 12 Wandering Destiny -
Ginrei: It’s no good, they’re catching up to us!
Q Boss: Hehehe, there’s nowhere left to run! Now, my little lambs, hand over the professor and that briefcase!
Professor Yumi: Ginrei, leave me. Just run!
Ginrei: No can do, Professor Yumi! We’re almost to the rendezvous point!
Q Boss: Hoho! You think you can get away? I gotta get my hands on that briefcase!
Ginrei: Wh-what's that sound?!?
???: Run faster! Don’t stop now! Straight ahead!
Ginrei: Eh?!? What!
Q Boss: What the heck?!?
Daisaku: Keep going Ginrei! Go, Robo!!!
Ginrei: It’s Daisaku! And Giant Robo too!
Q Boss: Oh hell no! That's Giant Robo!
Q Boss: Eeeee!
- BATTLE STARTS, Q BOSS DEFEATED -
Daisaku: Let’s go, Ginrei, Professor. Hold on tight.
Bright: What is that?
Beltorchika: Captain, incoming transmission.
Bright: Put it on the main screen.
Ginrei: Is this Captain Bright of the Albion? Sorry for being late! I’m Ginrei, formerly of the IPO. Good to see you!

Bright: So Ginrei, what happened?
Ginrei: This is Professor Yumi of Karaba. The Imperial Army raided his research facility, so I came to rescue him.
Quattro: Oh, you're from Karaba?
Professor Yumi: I’m ashamed to say it, but we got caught unprepared. The enemy attacked while our main force was away. We did our best to salvage all the research data, but we never would have made it out if Giant Robo hadn’t come.
Bright: Giant Robo?
Ginrei: Yes, this robot. Daisaku, come here. This is Daisaku Kusama, he’s in charge of handling Giant Robo.
Bright: He’s just a child...
Ginrei: Yes he is, but it’s not a problem. He doesn’t pilot Robo, he just issues orders. Besides, Robo only listens to Daisaku, anyway.
Daisaku: I’m Daisaku Kusama! Nice to meet you, sir!
Ryo: Daisaku, how old are you?
Daisaku: I'm twelve years old!
Roux: Twelve?!? For real???
Daisuke: It’s true! Why would I lie about that?
Roux: Well, he's got a point...

Beltorchika: Captain, incoming transmission from Director Chujo, former chief of the International Police Organization.
Bright: Ah yes, put him through. It's good to see you still in one piece, Director Chujo.
Director Chujo: It’s been three years, Captain. Did Ginrei and the others make it safely?
Bright: Yes, we were just talking.
Director Chujo: Good, that’s one less fire to put out.
Ginrei: Chief, what’s going on?
Director Chujo: I only have bad news, so I’ll say it up front. We have reports that the Empire is launching a large-scale search and destroy operation against resistance fighters.
Quattro: We haven’t observed any movement to that end.
Director Chujo: They’ve been very careful to conceal their movements. Even Karaba hasn’t discovered their plans yet, I think. We were able to find out about it because we have an “expert” with some special abilities.
Bright: I believe it, Director. So, what will we do?
Director Chujo: The Empire will launch simultaneous attacks on points they believe to be resistance strongholds all over the world. Unfortunately, there’s no time left to send out a warning. An entire battalion is already on its way, you need to flee immediately.
Bright: Alright, let’s get going.
Ryo: Seems like it’s too late. I don’t know how big of a force it is, but the enemy is already heading for us.
Bright: What?!? All hands, level one battle stations!
Daisaku: Let’s go Robo! Let’s show everyone how awesome you are!
Beltorchika: Captain! Giant Robo is launching!
Bright: Good, let’s follow its lead! Everyone, launch!
- TURNS LATER, MAZINGER TEAM SPAWNS -
Koji: Phew! Made it just in time. Professor, you still in one piece?
Bright: Who's that?
Professor Yumi: Ah, Koji, Sayaka, Boss. You’re safe.
Sayaka: Father! Good, you’re here!
Bright: Professor, who are they?
Professor Yumi: That’s my daughter Sayaka, as well as two members of Karaba: Koji and Boss.
Koji: Heh, these wimps had to wait till I was gone to come knocking! Well anyway glad you’re ok, Prof.
Ryo: Cut the chit-chat, it's time to fight!
Koji: Now you’re speaking my language!!! Sayaka, Boss, let’s get to it!
Sayaka: Let's go!
Boss: Time to flex on these punks! Boss Borot is here!
Duo: Hey! Is that funny-looking pile of scrap really gonna fight?
- TURNS LATER -
Beltorchika: Captain! Enemy reinforcements approaching! There are too many of them, I don’t know if we can handle them all!
Bright: What?!? ...They're trying to block us in!
Amuro: Bright, let’s get out of here while we still can. We can’t win this fight.
Bright: ...We have no choice. All units withdraw from the battlefield. Quickly!

Amuro: So, have you heard how the other resistance groups fared?
Quattro: Yes, but the news is even worse than we expected.
Bright: That bad, huh?
Quattro: About forty-five bases, both ours and Karaba’s, have been totally destroyed. I’m sure other resistance groups fared no better. It seems we underestimated the Empire’s resolve.
Bright: Damn it… This is a disaster...
Ryo: So what the hell are we supposed to do now?!?
Shinobu: We only have two options: surrender to the Empire, or fight it out on our own. Right, Commander?
Quattro: Indeed. There are still some places that escaped the Empire's operation, but very few fighters remain now. Our struggle has just become much more difficult.
Domon: So what’s the point?!? Every minute I’m wasting here, the Devil Gundam’s-
Amuro: Domon, relax.
Domon: But!
Rain: Domon, now is not the time to panic. We need to think carefully about our next move. Don’t you agree?
Domon: Grr...
Astonaige: Woah, no running in the hallway, kids! What’s eating him?
Amuro: Don’t worry about it, Astonaige. Anyway, how’s the Albion?
Astonaige: The engine’s busted up pretty good. All we can do now is patch her up and hope for the best.
Bright: Wait, is that true?
Astonaige: Yeah… We’re still in the air for now, but we can't maintain a high altitude like this.
Kamille: We don’t have anywhere to dock for repairs either… We’re done for, aren’t we?
Duo: Oh great. If we get stranded out here, we’ll be sitting ducks!
Quatre: ...I have an idea. Captain, could I have a quick word?
Bright: You do? ...Good, okay.
Quatre: Yes!

Show: Commander Quattro, have you heard anything else about the troops that came from Byston Well?
Quattro: Ah, yes, we have. Reports are unclear, but we do know that they haven’t made any moves against the aliens’ occupying force.
Cham: What do you mean?
Show: ...You mean to tell me that Drake may have joined forces with the Empire?
Quattro: It’s a distinct possibility. Show, what do you think?
Show: It’s hard to believe that Drake would make an alliance with the aliens. But, maybe one of Drake’s advisors is responsible for this...
Selene: You mean he has advisors from our world too?
Show: I don’t know for sure, but I heard a rumor that a high-ranking member of Drake’s forces is actually a surface-dweller. One who came to Byston Well way before I ever did.
Quattro: Could it have been a member of the military...
Show: Didn’t you say earlier that a few fighters from Byston Well were engaged in battle with the Empire?
Quattro: Yes. We have reports of a few battles between them.
Cham: Show! It must be Marvel, Ciela, and the others!
Selene: Are they allies of yours?
Show: Yeah. Do you know where they are now?
Quattro: I'm afraid we don't know the exact location of these battles.
Cham: Show, we have to go save Marvel and the rest of them!
Show: We can’t just fly around searching for them, Cham. Unless we get some more intel, we can’t do anything.
Cham: Aw...

Duo: Yo, Quatre! So what’s the good word?
Quatre: I managed to get in touch with them.
Bright: Will the Maganac Corps really come through for us?
Quatre: Absolutely. Their base is hidden under a town, so the Empire didn’t find them. They can repair the Albion for us no problem.
Roux: So where is their base?
Quatre: They’re in the Middle East.
Bright: ...That’s quite the journey. Let’s hope we don’t run into any enemies along the way.
