Quattro: Selene, is everything okay?

Selene: I'm getting used to the prototype sir. No problems to report.

Quattro: Is that so? We will reach our destination in about 12 hours. Let’s hurry.

Selene: Yes sir.

Quattro: We've arrived.

Selene: Hm? This is the rendezvous?

Apolly: You, put your unit in first.

Selene: Yes sir.

Quattro: Selene, get out of the prototype and come here.

Bright: That was a dangerous mission, Commander. So this is the new unit you mentioned?

Quattro: Yes, it is. However, the resistance group that captured it was annihilated in the process of retrieving it.

Bright: Well then, who is that pilot?

Quattro: Selene, this is Captain Bright Noa of the Earth Liberation Front.

Bright: I'm Bright. Nice to meet you.

Selene: Selene Menez, sir.

Quattro: She is the sole survivor of her guerilla group, and a capable pilot as well.

Bright: Ah, Selene Menez? I've heard about you...this is good.

Selene: Sir, I do not know what rumors you’ve heard, but please don’t give me too much credit. Many of my comrades have died around me in the recent battles...I’ll be the first to admit it, I have only survived due to dumb luck.

Bright: That may be true, however, for a resistance group like ours, rumor and luck can be powerful weapons. Both for yourself, and to those around you.

Selene: I understand that, however I am just an ordinary person. I don't want anyone depending on me to perform miracles.

Quattro: We don’t sugarcoat things here, Selene. If you keep talking like this, people will really start to see you that way.

Bright: Alright Selene. Commander, let’s introduce her to everyone.

Apolly: That mysterious unit that flew in...Commander, the pilot is out of the cockpit.

Quattro: An Imperial SPT? You, pilot, don't move. Who are you?

Eiji: My name is Eiji. I came here to warn you that this place is being targeted by the Empire.

Quatrro: You say the Empire discovered our location? I don’t understand why someone like you would come to warn us about that.

Eiji: I do this because I want Governor Gresco and the Muge Zorbados Empire to be beaten and leave Earth. I’m telling you this for your own good, you need to leave immediately.

Apolly: Commander, this is ridiculous. I can't believe what I'm hearing!

Quattro: Is that so? We had our own intelligence that suggests that, but we weren’t able to confirm it. How did you come across this information?

Eiji: I intercepted communications from an Imperial anti-guerilla fighter corps. They scanned the surrounding terrain and then discovered your location.

Apolly: Commander, you know we really don’t have to listen to this guy.

Quattro: Hm, I’ll take a little time to think about this. I apologize however, I’ll have to handcuff you until I make a decision, okay?

Eiji: ...I understand. But make a decision quickly. Enemy forces are already on their way.

Bright: That young man piloting the Imperial SPT...I feel like we should trust him, but is that just naivete?

Quattro: Hm...Selene, what do you think?

Selene: I've never seen the Empire play a trick like this. Besides, this area doesn’t have any special defensive characteristics, so I don’t see any advantage in fighting here over fighting on the run, I think.

Quattro: Hm, I believe you are right. I agree. The warning Eiji delivered to us is probably true.

Bright: I think I agree as well...alright, begin preparations to depart. Lieutenant Apolly!

Apolly: Yes sir. The maintenance team will suspend work immediately.

Bright: Commander, after preparations are complete, send that young man here.

Quattro: I'll arrange it.

Bright: Selene, as you heard, we are leaving this area soon. What are your plans?

Selene: Captain, I’d like to go with you, if you don’t mind having me.

Bright: Of course, is it okay?

Selene: My comrades gave their life in exchange for the Svanhildr, I must go with it. Besides, I wish to stay safe as well.

Quattro: It’s always good to add an outstanding pilot to our roster. But with all due respect, please don’t hurry to follow anyone to your death, okay?

Selene: I understand. Please rest assured, I won't.

Bright: Alright, thank you again, Selene Menez. The Earth Liberation Front welcomes you.

Eiji: My name is Albart Null Eiji Asuka.

Bright: I’m Bright Noa. We reviewed the intelligence you provided and agreed that we should flee.

Eiji: Please withdraw as quickly as possible, I'm sure the Imperial forces are closeby now.

Bright: I know, preparations to depart are already underway. But your name and that blue SPT have me concerned.

Eiji: Bright Noa, you’re a former commander in the Earth Federation Army. What were you doing three years ago?

Bright: After the Zeon Independence War ended, I was captain of the White Base II in the conflict against the Muge Zorbados Empire. When the Federation surrendered, I left the army at the invitation of General Blex and helped to found an anti-Imperial resistance group.

Eiji: I also fought the Empire with the Earth Federation Army around that time, for a short while.

Bright: Really? Oh yes...I remember. Eiji Asuka: a child of both the Earth and the Empire. Well if that’s the case, then that SPT must be the Layzner?

Eiji: Yes.

Bright: That’s good, so we’re safe having you around. Word went around that you were dead. If you had just told us who you were, we would have trusted your word immediately.

Eiji: No, if I started out like that don’t you think you would have had even more doubts?

Bright: Maybe you’re right. Anyway, we are leaving here very soon. What will you do next?

Eiji: Please allow me to come with you. I have an obligation to do everything I can to stop the Empire.

Bright: I see. It will be reassuring to have you and the Layzner on our side.

Bright: What is it?

Quattro: Unfortunately Eiji’s warning appears to have been for naught.

Bright: What?!? It's too late to retreat?

Bright: All hands, prepare for battle! All non-combatants evacuate to the carriers!

Eiji: I'll sortie in the Layzner!

Bright: Good!

- Scenario 2 Swarm of Killing Machines

Quattro: I see Imperial drones. Apolly, Roberto, Selene, do you read me?

Apolly: No problems here, sir.

Roberto: All clear, Commander.

Selene: Ready anytime, Commander Quattro.

Quattro: Alright, all units, sortie!

Quattro: That SPT...is that Eiji?

Eiji: I will also fight.

Quattro: Having you with us is a huge help, Eiji.

Eiji: No way! Was that...the Grimkaiser?

Gale: That SPT...that's the Layzner! Eiji, is that you, Eiji Asuka?

Carla: (Eiji Asuka? That woman's younger brother?)

Eiji: That's...that's Gale!

Quattro: Eiji, is something wrong?

Carla: Albart Null Eiji Asuka! How dare you shamelessly show your face in front of the lieutenant here!

Gale: Carla, stop. Eiji...I was sure that you were dead.

Eiji: Gale...

Gale: Eiji, it's good to see you alive. If Julia were here, she sould be overjoyed to see you too. Now, surrender, it's within my jurisdiction to still save your life.

Eiji: I won't be returning to the Empire. Now that I see the Earth in its present condition, I understand how mistaken the Empire is.

Gale: ...you truly are half-Terran. Have you considered the position you're putting me in? A man with a traitorous little brother... Listen, there's still time. Surrender to us, Eiji.

Quattro: This is ridiculous, selfish behavior. Eiji Asuka, this is a battlefield! Hesitation will only get you killed here!

Gale: Looks like this might end in violence...how regrettable.

Eiji: Gale! Gale: Eiji, are you really going to attack me? Eiji!

Eiji: Gale???

Gale: What are you doing, Eiji, worrying about a defeated opponent...you're such a naive guy. From now on our path is decided. Next time we meet, I will show no mercy or hesitation.

Carla: Lieutenant Gale! Damn, I'll definitely get you next time, Eiji...

Quattro: Is everything oaky, Eiji? We'll be moving along soon.

Eiji: ...yes, everything's fine. (Gale...)

Selene: So that's Eiji Asuka...a man of both Terran and Imperial blood...

Roberto: Captain, General Blex is contacting us.

Bright: I see, transfer him to me.

Blex: It's good to see you safe, Bright. You too, Commander.

Bright: Yes sir, we had assistance from the Svanhildr and Layzner.

Blex: So we have a prototype unit of Imperial make and a man of Imperial descent fighting with you? As expected from the Commander, he's assembled a highly unique fighting force.

Quattro: I do realize it's an unusual situation, but isn't that flexibility why we've had success so far?

Blex: It certainly does seem to be working for you. Well, I have plans to form more hit-and-run teams such as yourselves. We’ve been in talks with Karaba about mutual aid.

Quattro: General, I understand that our group needs to expand our forces, but we here are in need of reinforcements ourselves.

Blex: I know, Commander. We're discussing pairing you up with a guerilla group from the New York area also.

Apolly: Hey you, is that guy Gale relative of yours or something? I thought he said you were his little brother.

Eiji: ...Gale is my older sister's fiance.

Apolly: Oh man, that's rough.

Eiji: No...I abandoned the Empire three years ago.

Apolly: Is that so? That’s a tough situation. Well anyway we’ll all fight together from now on. Take a break, Eiji. You too, Selene. It’s part of a pilot’s job to take breaks sometimes.

Selene: I understand that, but I want to check the prototype's drive system.

Apolly: What, you're going to get in there with all that oil and dirt? That's not very cute of you, don't you think, Selene?

Selene: That doesn't matter. I'm not especially worried about being womanly.

Apolly: Sure, sure, I get it! Sheesh.
