After Colony 195, Earth...

On that day, a boy took his first step onto the fierce battlefield of destiny.

A transcendent new martial art has been developed, employing huge humanoid robots to engage in hand-to-hand combat. It is called “Buki Hakuen-ryu.” (The Supreme Mechanical Warrior Style)

The aged founder of this art was seeking pupils to build up his school, when one day he came upon a certain orphan. Who can say if this chance encounter was blessed, or cursed? In any case, with relentless training, the orphan and his fellow pupils slowly mastered their teacher’s excellent techniques.

When the Muge Zorbados Empire invaded Earth, the pupils were sent out to battle, but two of them were prohibited from joining the struggle because they were still too young. Then, their father and mentor, the elderly founder of the school, became ill and died. With his dying breath, he charged his final two students to “fight for the sake of those who can’t protect themselves,” and entrusted to them two dedicated Buki Hakuen-ryu robots, the Earthgain and the Vairose.

And so, the wheel of fate began to turn...
