Armored Trooper VOTOMS: Pailsen Files is the direct prequel to the Armored Trooper VOTOMS TV series and the direct sequel to Armored Trooper VOTOMS: Red Shoulder Document - Roots of Ambition. The Pailsen Files covers Chirico's time of service with the Gilgamesh Confederation after the disbanding of the Red Shoulder Battalion.
Story
Chirico Cuvie continues to fight battles under the Gilgamesh Confederation as they are still in war with the Balarant Union. As he somehow proceeds to cheat death, he finds himself transferred again to another location and unit. Continuing to train and fight, Chirico cannot help but feel that he is being manipulated by someone somewhere in the galaxy.
