Super Robot Wars/R/Story/Introduction

Humanity has taken to space creating space colonies, and has been living in these colonies for over a century.

The discord between those on the Earth and those who came to live in space caused many arguments, and finally the space colony furthest from the Earth known as Side 3 declared themselves the Principality of Zeon, and launched a war of independance against the Earth Federation in a One Year War the Earth Federation ultimately won.

Even after this One Year War, the arguments between the Earth and Space continued. Because of this, the Earth itself was irrevocably damage. People tired of the long wars took on the ideal of Total Pacifism, and created the Earth Sphere Nation. The war between the Earth and those in Space was thus ended.

But from the depths of space and the depths of the Earth came invaders. Because of the ideals of Total Pacifism and the deilitarization that followed, the only one left to fight these invaders off were the Super Robots created by specific labs to oppose them.

This incident caused people to question the ability of Total Pacifism to stand, and a coup d'etat occured, which destroyed the Earth Sphere Nation, and caused the Neo Earth Federation government to rise, represented and led by Dekim Barton

This Neo Earth Federation was able to counter the invaders, but it´s relation with Neo Zeon, led by one Char Aznable, began to fail, so the war began again...

The year is S.C. (Space Century) 141. The first battle test of a new, multi-purpose kind of equippable mobile weapon was about to begin...
