Personality And Traits

Bright, positive and charismatic girl with a fair attitude towards the Blanche of the planet Urs. A very kind individual who wishes for the best in others. As a result of being brought up among men, her speech patterns are more masculine than most girls, and often refers to herself with "boku". She's very weak towards love dramas and often mistakes exchanges between other people as love triangles or lovers' quarrels. As the story progresses, Musica also displays great leadership as she leads her comrades through the darkest of trials.

History

Age 17, 157cm, 48kg. Born to Lazlo Fareden and an unnamed mother. Musica is the only child of the Fareden family. Despite a complete lack of real combat experience, her growth in combat situations was without peer. During the war between Northern Bright and Azlonia, Musica was left as commander of the Silverlard after Wollon Mellows was wounded in battle with the Azlonian duplicate of Nei Ha Mon (L-Gaim). As she experienced real combat, her skills as a natural leader blossomed.

When Lazlo Fareden commited his coup d'etat as leader of the Liberation Army, with promise to help free the Blanche from Ursian tyranny. Musica had two choices, whether to join her father, or stay with Northern Bright. Should Musica choose to follow her father, she would rendezvous with the Liberation Army and help defeat both Northern Bright and Azlonia by destroying Duplicators. The road to victory was harsh for Musica, with the sacrifice of Regi Mellows, who was like a sister to her, and Glen Dorkins' refusal to join the Liberation Army, because of his hate for the Blanche. While Glen survived, Regi did not, and her death spurred her fiancee to avenge her death, hounding Musica wherever he could.

Ironically, after the Liberation Army was disbanded and peace was supposedly achieved, it was her father, Lazlo Fareden, now the leader of the newly created Coalition Army, who secretly continued operating the remaining Duplicators to create more Blanche in order to expand Coalition territory in what seems to now be a mere lust for power. Despite many persuasions, Lazlo would not concede, and he even so much as struck her. With new resolve, Musica decided that it was her duty to stop her father, and left with the many friends she made during the Liberation War. On board the Silverlard, they made their way to the HQ of the Resistance Army. Greeted by Neal Given (Dunbine), Musica was appointed the new leader of the Resistance Army, and they made plans to defeat the new tyrant. By using decoys, Musica & Co. manages to penetrate Coalition forces and combat Lazlo Fareden himself, who deployed in a Choir Armed. Though Shou (Dunbine) and Marvel (Dunbine) displayed concern over what Musica must do, she assured them that she would be fine when she faced her father. After a great battle, Lazlo falls, and while Musica was greatly saddened, it was something she had resolved to do. With the Coalition Army defeated, true peace was finally achieved, and the Blanche were allowed to start new lives not chained to war.

After a few months have passed, Musica & Co. received a letter from a sender who calls herself J.G., showing the location of a new Duplicator. As Duplicators are the source of the continuous conflict on Urs, Musica & Co. have been going around determined to destroy them all. Evidence at the newly discovered Duplicator points that there is an even greater Duplicator on the first moon of Urs, Fusico. With the information at hand, Musica & Co. departs for the moon. They were greeted by a great fleet of unknown origins. While they struggled to find a way past the fleet to the moon, the sender of the letter, J.G., appeared, and sacrificed herself to make a path for them, leaving them the words that she was "someone who isn't meant to be alive". When Musica & Co. arrived at the moon, they found that the duplicator there is the Mother Duplicator.

Guarded by two Old Ursians and countless Juggernauts piloted by Blanche, Musica & Co. faced this ancient foe. The two Old Ursians, a young child called Chasky, and a teenage girl called Eledreille, explained that the Duplicators were inventions of the Old Ursians used to duplicate superior genes of other races in order for the race to survive what was apparently a supernova. With the Duplicators, the Old Ursians managed to survive the harsh conditions of their planet, and extinction was prevented.

Through the battle, Musica was able to convince the two guardians to join their side. Noting that, Duplicators are no longer necessary for the Ursians to survive, and are in fact, more harmful to the race than not. The Mother Duplicator, through long years of existance, gained sentient thought, and with the defection of her guardians, it launched even more weapons at Musica & Co. when it was finally defeated, Musica ordered the shutdown of the Mother Duplicator. The MD, acknowledging Musica as its master, complies. With this act, all the Blanches start dematerializing. Apparently, the Mother Duplicator was responsible for keeping all pure duplications in material form. Musica worries for her friends, but the MD assures her that they're not dying, but rather, returning to one, with their original. Though their memories of their stay in Urs will be erased, their experiences will merge with their original. Musica pays farewell to her friends as she watches them disappear before her eyes.

Despite having their memories erased, those who spent their time with Musica still had her name lingering within their thoughts after their return. Though they don't know what it means, it was a reassuring word for them, giving them momentary peace in whatever place they are in.

Trivia

  • Musica is a hardcore fan of Char Aznable. She always paints her unit red in tribute to his skill as an MS pilot.
  • In a few times between the meetings of Char and Musica, they often feel nostalgic with each other, hinting at their relation.
  • Musica's self-referral of "boku" is written in katakana, apparently used to distinguish the dialogue with another Xabungle character.
  • Putting Musica in R-1 will result in hilarious comments. Apparently, she's not very "hot-blooded".
