Shiro Amada (シロ・アマダ Shiro Amada) is the protagonist of the OVA Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team. He leads the 08th Mobile Suit Team in the South Asian battlegrounds during the One Year War. Quickly finishing officer training and deployed, he is tasked with dealing the Zeon presence while earning the trust and respect of his fellow comrades.

Super Robot Wars Appearances

Shiro's inclusion in Super Robot Wars gives players a hot-blooded man in a not so hot-blooded mecha. Shiro and the Gundam Ground Type variants provide players with an extremely flexible approach to battle as their weapon options cover just about any range. Although Shiro has no special Newtype powers, his spirit command pool will often allow for him to compensate for it with spells such as Gain and even an early Hot Blood should he have the spirit points to cast it. The biggest incentive to using Shiro is for recruiting his lover Aina, who often finds herself fighting on the enemy side. However, players should consider keeping terrain modification parts in handy or having reserve units to switch to in the case Shiro is not fighting a ground-based battle.
