Story

The year is After Colony 196, after the death of Treize Khushrenada during the Eve Wars, the Earth sphere entered a new era of peace under the newly founded Earth Sphere Unified Nation, which embraces the ideal of total pacifism. The Gundam pilots (except Wufei) have decided to send their Gundams into the sun in order to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands. However, a rebellion years in the making is threatening this peace.

Relena Darlian, now the Vice Foreign Minister of the ESUN, is kidnapped during a negotiation with the colony of L3 X-18999. The perpetrators are a private army led by Mariemaia Khushrenada, the supposed daughter of Treize himself. Armed with hundreds of advanced mobile suits, Mariemaia soon declared war against the ESUN, and threatened to drop the colony, as per the original Operation Meteor, if the Earth government does not surrender.

Completely caught off guard by this new threat, the Preventers, ESUN's secret intelligence arm, is unable to stop them on its own. Fortunately, they receive help from the Gundam pilots: Quatre goes to retrieve their Gundams while Heero and Duo infiltrate X-18999. However, inside the colony, the two discover that Trowa and Wufei, their former comrades, have already joined the Mariemaia Army...

Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz in Super Robot Wars

The Gundam Wing units players know and love are back and they are better than ever. Although units have changed, like Wing Gundam Zero's loss of a bird form or the loss of a melee weapon on Heavyarms, their increased power allows this to be quickly brushed off and ignored. Like the TV series counterparts, all the Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz units are extremely solid and come in a good variety of close ranged, long ranged, and all-range units except now they're more powerful. These units are usually acquired relatively early compared to most unit upgrades, so players should take advantage of this while other ace pilots are waiting in line for their power boost.
