Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn is a novel that was adapted into an OVA series as a part of the Gundam franchise's 30th anniversary. This series takes place in the Universal Century Gundam timeline 3 years after Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack. Not only does this series fill in gaps of events in between Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack and Mobile Suit Gundam F91, but it also provides details of events that occurred during the very beginning of the Universal Century calendar: U.C. 0001.
