Mobile Suit Gundam 0080 is a OVA part of the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise that takes place at the conclusion of the One Year War. War in the Pocket follows the efforts of the Cyclops Team, a Zeon special forces commando mobile suit team, and their mission to destroy the Federation's newest Gundam type mobile suit.

Story

The Cyclops Team attempts to assault an Arctic base to prevent the rumored new Gundam model from reaching space. The team fails to stop it from launching and they pay a steep price in the loss of a comrade. However, the mission is not over as the transport's arrival was tracked to Side 6. The Cyclops Team, with their new replacement pilot, Bernard Wiseman, continue their mission to stop the Federation from unleashing its newly developed weapon onto the battlefield. Bernard, a newly recruited solder just out of training, must find the confidence and will to make a difference in an unorthodox kind of warfare.
