  • Ammo-type attacks (combination attacks with Reimu in Marisa's case) will also end up consuming MP.
  • If Marisa doesn't have enough MP to use an attack (most likely Final Spark at 90 MP) before activating the command, she will be able to use said attack after activating the command at the expense of all of her remaining MP. The boost amount will not be significant with such a low amount of MP however, so it isn't recommended.
  • The specific formula used is still unknown, but it is at least understood that 74 MP or below will give no boosts, while the maximum boost amount is +200% damage at 624 MP. This can be even further increased with Spirit Commands, such as Valor or Courage, leading to a whopping +350% of increased damage.
