(In a junkyard, Gust appears)

Gust: This is Yumenoshima, isn't it? (looks around) Uh-hu~h, it's beautiful! This really is a dream-like world! It's a perfect place for me to inhabit. I'm staying he~re! (teleports away)

[Translator's note: "Yumenoshima" literally translates from "Island of Dreams", but it seems to be a place in real life, so I'll stick to "Yumenoshima"]

Episode 3 Shunpei and Yuuta

(Maintenance area: it's the same one Toudou and Satoru use in Brave Saga 2, when Chirico shows up. Yuuta enters)

Yuuta: Okay, we've arrived!

Shunpei: (enters) [?] Where are we...?

Yuuta: This is the place of my memories!

Shunpei: Memories...?

Yuuta: This is where I first met Deckerd.

(flashback, same place, Yuuta and Deckerd)

Deckerd: I...a...m Deckerd...... I am Deckerd...

Yuuta: (jumps and runs to him) I'm Yuuta, Tomonaga Yuuta!

Deckerd: To...monaga...Yuu...ta.

(later in that flashback, Deckerd is practicing pointing his gun, in front of Yuuta)

Deckerd: Hold up! This is Deckerd of the Brave Police! How was that? Is this alright, Yuuta? (Yuuta nods and applauds)

(later on)

Yuuta: Say, Deckerd! Let's be like this for always. Please go on being my friend!

Deckerd: ...I can't do that. I was built to protect peace. I must fulfill my missiion.

Yuuta: [!] .........!

Deckerd: Yuuta, do you understand what I'm saying?

Yuuta: (nods) Uh-huh... Uh-huh...... Deckerd!!

Deckerd: Yuuta.

Yuuta: Uwaaaaaan!

(later on, some workers come and keep Yuuta away from Deckerd)

Yuuta: Deckerd!!

Deckerd: Yuuta... Yuuta, from now on, I shall fight criminals with courage.

(Yuuta walks between the workers, towards Deckerd)

Yuuta: Deckerd...

Deckerd: Courage. Live your life strongly, with courage.

Yuuta: ... Uh-huh!

Deckerd: Goo...d-bye... Yuu...ta.......

(flashback ends)

Shunpei: ...So that's what happened.

Yuuta: (nods) Uh-huh. It's my precious memory.

Shunpei: Memory, huh... (comm-link sound)

Both: [!]

Yuuta: Yes, this is Yuuta.

Deckerd's voice: Yuuta. Commissioner Saejima wants to show you something. Could you please come now?

Yuuta: Got it. I'll be there in a minute.

Shunpei: What could it be? What could he want to show us...?

Yuuta: (shakes head) I dunno. Anyway, let's go. (leaves with Shunpei)

(Brave Police HQ's garage; Saejima is there - Yuuta and Shunpei join him. Inside the garage is the J-Loader)

Saejima: Oh! You're here, Yuuta-kun. And Shunpei-kun... right?

Shunpei: Yes.

Yuuta: What did you want to show us, Saejima-san...?

Saejima: Mhm, look at this. (all look at the J-Loader)

Yuuta: Uwaaaah!!

Saejima: This is the J-Loader! Deckerd's support mecha. (poses) When Deckerd combines with this J-Loader, he turns into the invincible giant robot, J-Decker!

Yuuta: J-Decker!!

(All move forward. The camera pans to reveal Deckerd, Baan, McCrane, Power Joe and Dumpson)

Saejima: And these are the Brave Police's new members, the Build Team.

Yuuta: Wah! (walks towards them)

McCrane: BP-301, I am McCrane.

Power Joe: BP-302, I'm Power Joe.

Dumpson: BP-303, I am Dumpson.

Saejima: We used Deckerd's thought patterns as the basis and programmed their various feelings, but we didn't expect them to become such scattered fellows...

[Translator's note: I think he means that their personalities are very different. In fact, they use different pronouns - McCrane uses watashi, Power Joe uses ore, while Dumpson uses jibun]

McCrane: Boss, whenever you call us from now on, please use the names we picked for ourselves.

Power Joe: That's right, Boss. Keep that in mind reaaal good.

Saejima: As for Grandark's invasion, we, the Brave Police, will offer all of our support. Shunpei-kun and Baan, please call us whenever you need us!

Deckerd: Roger! Boss!!

Baan: Shunpei! We should go, too!!

Shunpei: ...U-Uh-huh!

Eyecatch: Baan Gaan x2 (This time, the second eyecatch features Manami, Satoru, Masaru and Hiromi)

Ptera Geist: Oi, you guys! Hurry up!

Horn Geist: Ptera, you bastard, you're acting all high and mighty just because you can fly!

Baan's voice: Wait!

(Baan's car form arrives)

Thunder Geist: Huuh...?

Baan: Change! (transforms)

Horn Geist: ... You! You're King Exkaiser's ally!!

Ptera Geist: Get him! Finish him!!

(You can deploy 6 more units. Deckerd and J-Decker are mutually exclusive. If you pick Deckerd, you can't combine into J-Decker. Please remember that)

J-Decker has two weapons: his electric stick and the J-Buster.

McCrane only has his shotgun.

Power Joe has his gun and nunchaku.

Dumpson has his gun and the dumper thingie.

Defeat all enemies!!

(When you defeat Horn Geist)

Horn Geist: Keh! This will be it for today!!

(When you defeat Armor Geist)

Armor Geist: Yikes! Time to fall back!!

(When you defeat Ptera Geist)

Ptera Geist: Tch! This isn't funny!!

(White flash as he leaves)

(On the map, Baan is alone as Gust shows up with a green flash)

Gust: You've got some guts to mess around in my area.

Baan: You're...!!

Gust: ...... Aah? If it isn't Astal's lame Brave!

Baan: What did you say!!?

Gust: You've come in the nick of time. If I beat you, it'll be one big achievement!! (summons 7 grunts; two Brave orbs show up: the Raker Brothers from Brave Exkaiser)

Blue Raker's voice: Wait a bit before you fight!!

(Combination FMV: Sayuu Gattai (Left-Right Combination) - Ultra Raker)

Ultra Raker: I'm sorry for being late! I'm one of the Space Police Kaisers, Ultra Raker!!

Baan: Ultra Raker!? King Exkaiser's companion!!

Ultra Raker: Yes! I'll lend my strength to protect peace!!

Gust: Unununu... This might be a bit nasty... (vanishes, leaving his grunts behind)

Ultra Raker's weapons are the Double Chain Crusher and the Ultra Cannon Beam

Shunpei: ...She hung up.

Baan: Anyway, let's go. (Shunpei nods)

(Inside the Dome, on an elevator platform, Shunpei, Manami and Baan)

Shunpei: I didn't know the Kaihin Dome had an underground room.

Manami: It's top secret, of course you didn't. We're almost there.

(A computer room with three mechanical boxes in front: one gray, one orange and one green; Baan, Shunpei and Manami are there)

Shunpei: ...! [Actually, I accidentally skipped the line, but it was something like this]

Baan: Where are we...!?

Manami: This is VARS's new base. You could call this a secret base.

Shunpei: A secret base...!!

(camera pans towards the boxes)

Baan: Those AI units are...

Manami: Your companions.

Baan: Companions...?

Manami: Yes! Your companions who will support you.

(Satoru enters)

Satoru: Manami-san started the development of support robots for you, in order to prepare even better for the evil enemy's attacks.

Manami: After hearing Baan's story, I thought that we didn't have enough strength at this point.

Baan: .........

Manami: The enemy has immense strength. The battle is only going to get harder and harder. There will be a time when your current strength won't be enough to match the enemy. We're preparing ourselves for that time...

Masaru: (enters) We're making preparations for powering you up. Look before you leap, as they say.

Hiromi: (enters) You shouldn't think that you can do everything alone. The world isn't that nice to you.

Baan: ...... Yes.

Shunpei: But... Is the power-up really alright?

Amano Rescue Team Branch Office: You can talk to Katori-san or Kenta and the others.

Brave Police: A separate room of the Decker Room.

Launch Exit: Advance to the next story.

Maintenance Room: Set the stats for Baan and the others. [Here, you can modify the stats for the original units, focusing on attack, defense or accuracy. You start with 72 extra points to divide among them]

Item Factory: Builds items.

Main Computer: Records your fight until now. [The save screen, in other words]
