Ending Conditions
Ending 1- Do not recruit Nine, Tesla, or Riko. Recruiting Yase may or may not be required.
Ending 2- Get Tesla and Nine. Recruiting Yase may or may not be required.
Ending 3 - Get Riko. Recruiting Yase may or may not be required.
Getting all 3 endings bags the associated trophy for this. For some reason the opening cinematic reverts to the original after the all 3 endings are seen.
TIPS AND TRICKS
Some characters join at a really low level late in the game. This is bad in the 1st and 2nd playthroughs so to get these people to level up, corner an enemy in such a way that it will not move to another square at the end of a turn then do HIT BREAK and ATK BREAK on that enemy. This accomplishes 2 things:
- Limits the attack range of the enemy to just one square.
- Drastically reduces the accuracy of the enemy's hits
Have your low level character attack. They may not be able to hit the enemy but they can still gain lots of experience points. Use Claude to heal the enemy if needed if you have more characters to level up.
Low level characters are still important for getting that pesky trophy that requires all skills to be used. High level characters cannot be hit by enemies that inflict status effects like poison and such. Tips for this trophy
- make a spreadsheet with a list of skills from characters and coins so you can track what are used.
- take note of the skill called 'Cure Doubt' There is no skill coin that lets you inflict this status. This means that if you are going to use the Zero no Tsukaima MAP attack technique to inflict status effects on your allies, you are screwed. Keep some of your characters at a low level so that when you get the coin which has Cure Doubt, get these characters hit by an enemy that inflicts the status and then use the Cure Doubt skill ASAP
- Louise of Zero no Tsukaima has the best map attack that hits all units, allies and enemies alike. She is perfect for inflicting status effects when you are gunning for the trophy.
