Rem: Well, what kind of world is this?

Alpha: Meow

Beta: ruff ruff

Rem: Huh? You feel nostalgic? Alpha and Beta seem to recognize it but....

Lingyin: Well then does that mean this is your world Rem?

Aria: Why don't you try calling someone you know?

Rem: Good idea, let's find a phone box

Aira: I thought it was weird before, but do you not have a mobile phone?

Rem: We don't have small wireless phones like in your or Rin's world.

Lingyin: I don't have a mobile phone........

Meru: What's a mobile phone?

Claude: I don't know much about it, either...

Aria: You don't even know? It's not that complicated!

[The group head to the nearest town to find a phone]

Aria: Strange.......

Lingyin: Yeah there's no one here at all. Even though this is the main street it's silent.

Meru: It's like a ghost town.....

Aria: I have a bad feeling about this.

Lingyin: By the way Aria, you fight with two swords and two guns right?

Aria: So what? Is there a problem with that?

Lingyin: No, I just mean that we're the same. My Shelong uses dual blades and has a cannon mounted on each shoulder. Don't you think thats like you?

Meru: Wow! It seems like your really strong too, Rin!

Aria: I disagree, I'll concede that we both use twin swords, but your mounted cannons are completely different. You don't have to use them by hand

Lingyin: Whats wrong with that!? Are you saying if you don't wield them in your hands they're no good?

Cecillia: If that's the case, aren't you like Cecilia?

Lingyin: Her IS' bits can't be used in conjunction with melee weapons!

Meru: Well well, If your getting into a fight over something like this you must get along well.

Aria & Lingyin: Who said I got on well with her??

Rem: I just got off from a call with the police. This is definitely my world.

Aria: So you made it back.

Rem: That's all well and good, but it looks like we're in a bit of a mess.

Claude: Come to think of it, there were a lot of things going on when we were here last right?

Rem: Yeah there was alot left unfinished. There's the Hidden God, the Doppleganger Incident and then there's the arrivial of unknown creatures Incident.

Rem: The police seem to be having a hard time finding anything of any of them

Claude: It sounds like you came back at the worst time.......

Aria: You idiot! You've got it backwards! This is when is Rem is needed here the most. We need to make the most out of this situation!

Meru: That's right, we're fishing for prawns with a thai!

Claude: Isn't that the wrong way to say it....? I think you've got the Thai and shrimp backwards.......

Rem: What does it mean to be young? To never give up! So that's why we're going to go for it.

Aria: You have a plan, don't you?

Rem: Yeah. you guessed correctly. The "people sleeping at the side of the road incident is ocurring more and more common. The number of cases seems to be on the increase.

Aria: You mean it's that Dr. Shinigami who tried to kill me!

Rem: Yes, but as I'm sure you've seen it's dangerous to go up against Dr.Shinigami.

Aira: I know, he didn't even die when I put a bullet through his head.

Lingyin: He didn't die after being shot in the head!?

Claude: He can't really die.

Meru: Yeah we watched it happen!

Rem: From my point of view, Rin's Shenlong is something I still can't believe exists.

Rem: But when you go to a different world many things are going to be different an unbelieveable. You can't solve a mystery if your bound by common sense.

Lingyin: I see, you have to open your mind

Aria: So do you have any plans for dealing with Dr.Shinigami?

Rem: Yes, according to the police we have a good idea of where he is hiding.

Rem: They've already begun evacuating all citizens in the vicinity and are ready to seal off the area.

Lingyin: So that's where we're going!

Rem: Only after the evacuation is complete. It isn't a good idea to get into a fight without having countermeasures against the People sleeping at the side of the road incident.

Aria: After Dr.Shinigami showed up I was put to sleep in just a few seconds. If we rush in without a plan we would easily all be put to sleep.

Lingyin: The IS' barrier makes it so we can even operate it in space. As long as I've got my barrier up I should be fine!

Rem: You might be able to do something about it, but It will still be a big problem is someone else gets put to sleep.

Rem: Dr.Shinigami can enter people's dreams. In other words as long as there is someone nearby who'se asleep he can escape into their dreams at will.

Lingyin: What!? That's not fair at all!

Rem: Do you understand how dangerous Dr.Shinigami is now? We can't fight him if there are any other people in the surrounding area.

Aria: Yeah. That's the minimum requirement. Rem, when will the evacuation be complete?

Rem: I think it will be tomorrow at the earliest. In the meantime, let's wait in my office.

[The group head to Rem's office]

Aria: Huh, So you really are a detective Rem.

Rem: First time customers are always suprised when they see me. So I'm used to getting that kind of reaction.

Lingyin: Does that mean you run a detective agency as a job? How old are you Rem.....?

Rem: It's rude to ask a lady her age.

Lingyin: I don't know what to say, You and Aria are both so young

Aria: I'm in my second year of high school!

Meru: Ohhhh, I'm the youngest here.

Lingyin: I like it! We're all similar ages

J: (Hey Claude, how old do you like them?)

Claude: How old is too old, and what do you mean?

Lingyin: You should stop talking to yourself! It's really creepy.

Claude: I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I'll go make everyone tea.

Aria: By the way Rem, can you tell us everything you know about Dr.Shinigami.

Rem: There's not much to say, Dr.Shinigami is a mysterious man. He's a monster, and there's a lot we don't know about him.

Rem: All we know is that he's not a normal person. I've killed him 3 times already and every time he's come back to life.

Rem: Are you sure you've killed him before. I already said this when you talked about him being able to enter dreams earlier, but this just sounds crazy.

Rem: Both of those things are true.

Aria: I've been put into a dream by him. I shot him at point blank range and he just laughed that I couldn't kill him and then he disappeared.

Lingyin: This is sounding more and more like a horror movie.

Rem: Didn't you know about this, Rin? Dr.Shinigami is a serial killer who targets beautiful girls.

Lingyin: Well now your just trying to scare me. Don't you think this all sounds a little unreasonable!?

Aria: Unfortunately It's all true.

Meru: And it's very scary....

Lingyin: How are you going to even catch a guy like that?

Rem: It's hard to catch him using normal methods. Besides he isn't the kind of person who can be judged using normal human laws.

Lingyin: You mean we have no choice but to defeat him?

Rem: If we can beat him. yeah

Aria: Haven't you already beaten him several time Rem?

Rem: Yes, But that doesn't mean we can take it easy.

Rem: (On the contrary, I don't know If I can win now....)

Lingyin: Don't think you can escape from the Shenlong's hyper sensors!

Claude: Hyper sensor? What's that........?

Lingyin: The hyper sesnsor is a function of the IS that enhances the operators sight and hearing.

Lingyin: When we developed Shenlong I was able to see the split ends of the eyelashes of people on the ground from the top of a building!

Rem: It's amazing! It's like the sight of an African!

Lingyin: Isn't that a weird analogy?

Aria: And you were able to catch him with the Hyper Sensors?

Lingyin: Huh?

[Dr.Shinigami appears]

Dr.Shinigami: I've been waiting for you----Hehe Hehe.

Lingyin: Wait what!? Where did you come from!?

Dr.Shinigami: Visual perception is the easiest sense to cheat since It uses the nervous system, In fact it is far more difficult to trick the senses of an animal.

Alpha: Nya!?

Beta: Ruff!?

Rem: Even Alpha and Beta didn't notice you. Dr.Shinigami.....You are.....!

Dr.Shinigami: Rem, you haven't forgotten what my power is have you?

Rem: Dreams!

Dr.Shinigami: That's right, and guns and swords are useless against the power of dreams. Do you want to fight me?

Aria: Of course! We have a lot of things we want to ask you. Like your relationship with Riko Mine!

Lingyin: He's taken the lives of many women and girls. We can't allow him get away with it! I'll never forgive him!

Rem: Don't get carried away! We need to stay calm and be careful if we want to catch him!

Dr.Shinigami: Let's see what you can do. I'll remind you how strong the power of dreams are, Rem!

Rem: I'll tell you this now, we wont let you escape! If you're not afraid of me, then you'll have to fight me here!

Dr.Shinigami: Very good. I'll show you the difference in our power, even if it's not in the dream world! I'll show you that I'm stronger than you!

[A lot of enemies spawn]

Meru: Wow! A lot of things just came out!

Dr.Shinigami: Feel free to drink up my friends. Ha-ha-ha! !

Victory: Defeat all enemies. Defeat: All allies defeated.

[Rem vs Dr.Shinigami]

Dr.Shinigami: How do you feel about fighting a war you can't win?

Rem: You never know until you try!

Dr.Shinigami: I know, you know Rem. How much of a gap in strength there is between you and I. Hahahaha!

Rem: Stop laughing!

[Defeat Dr.Shinigami]

Dr.Shinigami: Well.......so much for that!

Rem: Prepare youself, Dr.Shinigami!

Dr.Shinigami: It seems I have no choice but to retreat.......

Aria: You're trying to escape! No! We wont let you!

Dr.Shinigami: You will never catch me, because I have a 'hiding place'. I'll be going there now, so I bid you all farewell.

[Dr.Shinigami is engulfed in light]

Rem: That light!?

Lingyin: We won't let you! Let's go! Charge!

Aira: You wont escape!

Meru: We will!

[Everyone vanishes]
