ECOAS is an acronym that stands for '''E'''arth '''Co'''lony '''As'''teroid. ECOAS specializes in black-ops and classified missions and is capable of operating in all conditions and terrain as implied by their unit name. Their structure of command does not follow typical Earth Federation rank and authority and their existence is also secret to the majority of the Earth Federation Forces itself.

Unlike regular Jegans and their variants, ECOAS Type Jegans can utilize a wide array of weapons for whatever conditions their operators are deployed in.
