History

Super Robot Wars W

Super Robot Wars W opens with the Valstork crew taking on the job of taking the Gundam pilots Quatre and Duo to Earth. In the process of this, the family gets wrapped in the various problems worrying the world of SRWW, eventually joining up with the Executive Branch's taskforce, 'Wärter', a named coined by Tekkaman Blade's Freeman, a term meaning 'warden' in German, specifically, the caretaker of a lighthouse.

Before the Bloody Valentine

During many of the Wärter engagements, a strange young girl named Aria, piloting a crimson robot would appear before the Valstork family, claiming Kazuma as her rival, her enemy, and his sisters, Mihiro in particular, her family. Nothing much would be known regarding this for some time, though Blessfield's odd reactions led to Kazuma's suspicions of a love child, something vehemently denied by GaoGaiGar's Kotaru Taiga, a former rival in love of Blessfield. Following Wärter's defeat of the Jovian Lizards, the Mariemeia Army, and finally the the Z-Master and the New Machine Species Zonuda, the Valstork crew recieved word of the Federation Army's plan to attack PLANT(from Gundam SEED). Following the Zonuda's wave of desctruction, only the Valstork had the ample time to intervene, but it was cut short when it was accosted by the power of a strange young man and an even stranger machine. The man, known as Inference, using the machine known as Scientia, would not allow the Valstork to intervene, and attacked. In an attempt to save his son, Blessfield sacrificed himself, the ensuing destruction throwing Kazuma apart from his family, leaving the Ardygun sisters to mourn not only the loss of their father, but also their brother.

After the Bloody Valentine

Six months have past. Kazuma, now known under the assumed name of Kite, he joined himself in to the mercenary organization of the Serpent Tail, ashamed and blaming himself for the loss of his father. Fate would ordain the Valstork eventually working alongside the Serpent Tail, and the Ardygun sisters doing their best to convince Kazuma to work past his shame, and come back to them. This would not be so until Mihiro, piloting the Valhawk alone, was in major trouble, forcing Kazuma to cast aside his despair and take up his name once more to save his younger sister. With the Ardygun family together again, once more the forces of Earth mustered itself, this time under the flag of the 'Neue Wärter'. It was then that once more Aria appeared before them, this time more frequently, still calling Mihiro and the rest her beloved sisters, and Kazuma her hated enemy.

Eventually, The Database would reveal itself. Known in the past as the 'Scribes of Knowledge', they made their move, specifically against the Ardygun family. With the man known as Applicant, Aria would attack the Valstork again, with Applicant, a man strangely reminding Kazuma of his deceased father, crippling the Valstork. It was in this last moment, a new ability of the Valstork was revealed - the ability to fuse with the smaller Valhawk. Creating the Valguard, Kazuma as its lead pilot, he would fight off The Database, confused by the mysteries they presented.

Eventually Kazuma would learn the Database was closer to home than he expected. In actuality, they were creations of Blessfield himself, Aria in fact being a female version of himself, with Applicant, her 'guardian', being a direct copy of Blessfield. During Inference's attack on the Valstork six months ago, Blessfield's supposed death was anything but - his ability as a born Martian, the Boson Jump, along with a Tulip crystal in his possession, forcing him to accidentally Boson Jump - billions of years in to the past, to the very universe before our own. Kazuma would learn that Blessfield made the Valhark, the Valguard in this universe, and created the Database as a way of spreading the knowledge of the past universe in to the next, before it was gone. Despite Blessfield's best intentions, the Database would go arwy with its programming, leaving Kazuma to clean up the mess, something he found very, very unfair.

Kazuma would again face the Database in a decisive showdown, again ending with Applicant's forces forcing the Valstork and Valhawk in to a critical situation. Facing the possibility of elimination for her defeats, a paniced Aria cries out to the Ardygun family, wondering why she was never accepted by them, and wondering why her 'father', her 'guardian' Applicant is so willing to eliminate her himself. Kazuma would talk to Aria then, convincing her to abandon the insane Database, and come to his family, her family. Aria would agree - with her mecha, the Arms Arcus, providing a new part for the new combination of the Valstork. As another limiter is released, the Valstork combines with the Arms Arcus, the Arm Stora and the Valhawk, creating Blessfield's trump card against the Database, the Valzacard. With another Database soldier among them with this change, the program Regulate based upon Blessfield's love and Kazuma's mother Yuumi, the ultimate weapon against the Database was ready.

Kazuma would use this weapon to defeat the Database, and to make Inference realize the follies of the Database's actions. As peace reigns, Kazuma notes in his log that it's been a long journey, but he still has work to do, especially to try and avoid the Valstork's oncoming thirtieth something bankruptcy.
